The 2. Königliche Garderegiment zu Fuß was an infantry regiment of the Royal Prussian Army formed in 1813. The regiment considered itself the most noble regiment of Christendom (vornehmstes Regiment der Christenheit). The regiment was disbanded in 1914, with the mobilisation of the First World War when it was to become a part of the Garde Korps.

• 1870/71 against France: (Gardekorps) Battles of Gravelotte - St. Privat, at Sedan, Battle of Clermont, Gisors, Breteuil, Montdidier, Formerie, Le Bourget, Siege of Montmedy, Blockade and siege of Paris.
• 1914/18: as a part of 1. Garde–Division
