The 1st Regiment Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers & Greys)
(Note: History is Fictional)The 1st Regiment of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers & Greys) was formed 1745 After the Jacobite Rebellion when the British Generals realised the need for a strong, fast moving response force to counter any further Rebellions. With the lack of rebellion on the Homeland, 1st Regiment RSDG(C&G) was deployed to mainland Europe during the 7 Year Wars as part of the 9,000 troop deployment in 1758 to reinforce Ferdinand's Hanoverian army. The 1st Regiment didn't seen much action in the 7 Year Wars, and remained on the British homeland until the Napoleonic Wars of 1803. They were instrumental in the battle of the Nile and the battle of Waterloo in thinning the French lines before the main assaults. The then Captain DocRoe received a wound when charging the first french line in the battle of the Nile, where he lost his eye when a french Lancer nearly squired him. He, in the future, became the Colonel and Commanding Officer of the Regiment
The 1st Regiment of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers & Greys) are an EU/North America based Regiment, we offer training three times a week, Friday through to Sunday nights. For those who feel they need extra tutoring, our officers are more than willing to give one to one remedial training. We are part of the British Armed Forces http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,237700.0.html Brigade, allowing us to take part in Line Battles with them.
