15th Humans vs Bots Server (NOT A PLACE TO ASK FOR UNBANS)

You need to sort out your admins or this server is going to die. In about 10 minutes I saw roughly 5 people get perma banned, one for simply saying that he was annoyed at the amount of human players on the bot team and jokingly saying 'they should all be banned'. I said that I thought the admin was overreacting, at which point the admin seemed to lose all sanity and told me that if I didn't stop 'defending the trolls' I would be banned. I said that I wasn't defending trolls, simply because I didn't think they were trolling, rather the admin was being oversensitive. the last message I typed was "lets just agree that you and I have different definitions of trolling", at which point I was perma banned. My in-game name was 'baggins' if you want to go through the logs and verify my story.

I can't remember the admins name I was more focused on the game and it was more of a discussion on the side but unless you want to run this server into the ground I would rethink the admin team, pretty unacceptable to be honest.

 

this sounds like the same time i was banned, i had joined saw only 3 attackers so i joined them i was then playing for a good 10min when a large amount of people joined the attackers and instead of just punishing them he decide to just pick who to switch and like i said when i said 'why did i switched' his reply was 'because'. that is just very unprofessional and he is abusing the power given to him

The game rules are on display for all to see and not all of our admins feel inclined to spell out the obvious to every troll that enters the server. You were all banned for being trolls and you will all stay banned. The fact you failed to read the OP proves your stupidity...

I am not a troll i haven't done anything and honestly if that's how treat situations then i am SURE this server ill crash and burn. you have probably banned half of the community as it is and soon enough no one will want to join

Always read the server rules when you join a server!
In addition, upon reading a server name that contains "Humans vs Bots" one should get a brain activity burst and inform yourself that this may actually be a custom server. And custom servers usually have custom rules.

and i did not break rules an admin always explains what he does from what ive seen and this admin just says 'because' im sorry but i don't think in the rules it states that admins are GOD and could do whatever they want and if you speak out against them you will be permanently banned, and fyi dont speak to me like i am 12 i produce alot more 'brain activity' then you ever will

I found myself being banned because the admin said i was this betty bomber person. i said no and they were making accusations. Apparently i was being rude when i feel i was expressing my opinion. The thing i said before i got banned was that the admin should stop making accusations i feel this is unfair because i dont think this was a good enough to ban me . Please allow me on this server and tell one of your admins to not be so judgemental during games :L

Everyone who is banned is banned for a good reason and there are no rogue admins on the server that i am aware of so you clearly earned your ban in one way or another. That is all.

Have you ever played on the server? I often play on the Aus, US and European severs and easily the humans vs bots is the worst admin-ed server of the lot. An allied defender was trolling by destroying defences and the admin did nothing, then people have been banned for using explosive crates "no rouge admins", give me a break, try playing for once.

Clealry says rogue, try learning to read or spell.

It is worth knowing that "wolteri" and "zimmer" are the same.

That is not accurate.  We may have had the same experience, but are not the same person.    I got banned on my 3rd time on the server.  Apparently, as stated above, the auto select doesn't work very well and that is how I got into trouble.  What purpose would it serve to have a second name??  This accusation can easily get out of hand.  Can't you check the IP addresses for Wolten and myself off of our accessing the server???

I really haven`t got the time thanks! Temp bans go away, perma bans will have been well earned under normal circumstances and wont be undone! For the sake of the many players who enjoy our server and obey the rules we will not tolerate any trouble makers of any kind or give them more chances to spoil everyone else`s playing experience. That is all.

'Well earned'. You know how I got banned? Literally saying to the admin 'Lets just agree that you and I have different definitions of trolling'. Literally that sentence, go back in the logs and prove me wrong. In game name was 'baggins', occured on the 21st of Febuary around 7pm New Zealand time. You try and call that 'well earned' all you want, but it sure as hell wouldn't have happened on any server with admins that weren't oversensitive 10 year olds.

Everyone who gets banned talks the same bollocks about how they did nothing like the oversensitive children they clearly are. Don`t let the door hit you in the face on the way out!

You're an Admin? Go look at the logs. I bloody well dare you, if you're so confident that everyone is banned for good reason, go back in the logs and try disprove ONE aspect of my story.

whether admins "feel inclined" or not they're obligated to. Even to a troll. If the admins can't understand that they shouldn't be admins. That's how servers work, it's that simple. Anything less shows poor leadership.

Yeah, I want to try and repeal a ban. I was banned by the whor--- that moderator MADVIXEN, probably for your rule #6 - "trolling" the engineering class, wasting points. I want to repeal this ban because I was not trolling, it was the other engineer at the time who complained about the proper defences I set up, and got me in trouble, with your idi--- I mean administrator. Just want to repeal this ban because There aren't that many servers for napoleonic wars for siege. If you can reply as to WHY I won't be let back in, let me know. I'd appreciate it.

I would just like to say your moderator MADVIXEN is an idiot that should'n't have been let out of the brothel. THis person abused their power, and I want to see justice for it. Or not, you probably ban more than half the community anyway. Good luck, I  hope your donations dry out.

He gave no reason for the ban before or after other than me stating something to the effect of "You are being a ridiculous admin."  I understand that berating admins is a ban-able offense however if any other admins or members were on at that time they would have seen Ewan's conduct. 

(S)He perma-banned about 2-3 people and gave little to no reason other than "Don't **** with me" (and other derivations).  A lot of people were team chatting how ridiculous Ewan was acting as an admin and the server easily lost a lot of players via perma-bans that did not need to be perma-banned [destroying defenses = perma-banned w/o temp ban or slay; etc.].

If you happen to un-ban that'd would be great but if you choose not to, I feel that's overall your loss.  I'm submitting this comment more as a notice that you should monitor Ewan's activity as an admin. 

Other admins such as Jose and MadVixen are overall excellent and do a good job pleasing the server while maintaining the rules and those admins should be supported. 

Hopefully this will put you on notice to remove Ewan as an admin and keep the server friendly while rule-enforceable.

I was perm banned for a personal matter that had nothing to do with the server, but if Ewan banned you he had a reason to, so shut yer trap and a Cenkris would say don't let the door hit ya on the way out!

I banned the other player for breaking defences after I warned them three times.

You were banned for being antagonistic.

The server is very friendly and has many regulars. You chose not to be friendly and so you were banned.

I was permanently IP banned for absolutely no reason on Thursday or Friday night(I think) I would like to appeal it. I frequent this server semi-regularly and always follow the rules. I believe there could be 2 possible reasons for my unjust ban.
1.I was playing a night or 2 before my ban with a friend and we were messing around and killed each other a couple times, but i was not maliciously tking other players or disrupting the server.
2.I had the same name as another player "Barry_Lyndon"something-or-other who may have done something which I could have been mistakenly banned for.
So after playing a few nights before with my friend (the one above ^ in reason number 1) I joined the server and played one round without any problems but about 2-3 seconds after the next round started I was permanently banned and no reason was given. Please repeal this unjust ban.

Ive noticed that on this server admins abuses their power to that percent that me and my buddies don't want to visit the server anymore.

One of my friends were arguing with one of the 15th admins about admin abuse and using their banhammer for no valid reason. It have been numerous times lately where people have been kicked, temp ban and even PERM BANNED for no valid reason at all what so ever.

Today on of my friends were arguing with an Admin who insulted him and his name. The Admin accused him of being insecure and something else (which i didn't pay attention to, i was playing the game at the time but saw the conversation) while my buddy argued with the Admin it got worse, the admin began to being VERY offensive and rude towards him when he pointed out that he have experienced very rude and abusive Admins on this server lately.
The Admin asked for names, he didn't know the names of those Admins because come on, you don't really put all of the admins name on your mind then the Admin perm banned him for no particular reason or on WHY the admin banned him without NO warning at all.
He didn't insult the admin verbally, he didn't troll or anything he just argued with the admin in a reasonable way. The admin didn't hand out a warning what so ever on that he could get perm banned for voicing his opinion. The admin began to act REALLY immature and then perm banned him.

Is this the way a server should be run? Immature and abusive admins threatening for a perm banned for small talks? Do the rest of the admins AGREE to this behavior? I don't. I think its very sad to see a server that actually is good ruin by abusive people that clearly shouldn't get the power to ban other players.

maybe next time your friend will think twice about accusing our admins of being racist, swearing at players and the various other offences that we have been accused of, if he thinks his ban was unjust, why did he not come here himself? and having had the logs checked, by independant persons, i would like to say that nobody reads what i said about his name as being "abusive" to your friend, who i will point out his name was "GiganticPrick" which is inappropriate and trollish no matter who looks at it, i merely said that if somebody feels the need to have such a name it is their fault if an Admin tells them to change it or be kicked from the server. On another note, you yourself have admitted that your friend was "arguing with the admin" which is not a good thing to do on ANY server and would probably meet with the same punishment.

You deserved your ban for spam arguing with admins now deal with it. Your abusive and childish comments on these forums prove the low level of your mentality for all to see. Unban requests from obvious trolls are habitually ignored because they have already proved their ignorance by failing to observe the statement on the first page not to post unban requests unless there are extenuating circumstances. Behaving like an idiot does not count as an extenuating circumstance.

Oh really? I'm the one failing to read am I? I might point out that at no point have I asked to be unbanned, so perhaps before crying that people aren't reading properly, you should look at yourself.

Secondly, as I have said before, I was in absolutely no way trolling and your refusal to look at the logs leads me to suspect you know that, but fear having to accept you are wrong. Unless 'behaving like an idiot' is equal to 'telling the admin to lighten up'. Still think I'm exaggerating? By all means, look at the logs and disprove ANY aspect of my story to anyone here.
