The 14th Regiment of Foot is a gaming community based in Bannerlord. Many of our members have had up to 8 years of experience playing Mount and Blade, and are ready and raring to get going in Bannerlord once private dedicated servers have been established. We will be mainly centred around a possible Napoleonic mod once it arrives, however that will not stop us from additionally attending vanilla events and events for other Bannerlord mods. We will initially be a community centred around high skill set melee but will additionally be focusing on expanding our player base to a higher volume whilst still retaining the high level of melee skill. We will welcome all types of people however, as a general rule of thumb, we expect courteous behaviour between members and not to overstep other people's boundaries. As well as being centred around Mount and Blade we will also be an active gaming community playing other games in a friendly casual setting.

In 1777, one company of the 14th regiment was used to test the concept of a rifle company, seeing battlefield success at the battle of Brandywine Pennsylvania on September 11th. In 1793, after the outbreak of the French Revolution, the 14th was sent to join up with the Imperial Austrian Army to defend against the French invasion of the Low Countries. In the subsequent years, they distinguished themselves in battle at Famars, Valenciennes, and Tournai, the latter of which they received a battle honour for. At the Battle of Famars, the regiment's band was ordered to play the French Revolutionary song “Ça Ira”, which was later chosen as the Regimental march. In February 1797, the regiment participated in the invasion of Trinidad. When the outbreak of the Napoleonic Wars in 1803 prompted the expansion of the British Army, the 14th formed a second battalion in Belfast in 1804, which spent much of the war on garrison in Bengal. A third battalion was created in 1813, and fought at the Battle of Waterloo, where it took heavy casualties and was subsequently disbanded by 1816.
