Polish lords mostly use lamellar, scale or mail hauberk and heraldry symbol was only on the shield.
Are you sure? What I have seen on reconstructions they wear only mail and nothing else.

He he, on reconstruction yes, because Mail looking best! Reality was differrent, mix of eastern and western equipment.

I have seen the pictures of the Maciejowski bible (French work). They draw CoAs on shields many times but never on surcoats. Time frame is the same, it was created between 1244 and 1254.

Yes, it is possible. But heraldry signs on surcoat was commonly used by crusaders in 12th. century and some nobles copy this manner (for example Vítek z Prčice, Bohemian nobleman and crusader).

Is this finished? I can't wait to play with croatia.

I don't know if you followed the discussion, but we decided there won't be an independent Croatia. There will be, however, a croatian culture, with a smaller croatian troop-tree, and the croatian settlements and lords will be part of the Kingdom of Hungary. This will be the best solution to portray the situation of medieval Croatia in our mod, within the limits of the game engine.

At first I thought I might keep it as a surprise for the release, but I guess it would be good advertisement for the mod, so here's a pic of all the unique armors for the hungarian and croatian lords. Right now I'm working on czeh lords' armor.

Previous versions of the mod have been released. You'll find the link to the last version on the first page of this thread (the  first post). Right now we are working on a new (improved) version.

I found one more Czech noble family - Hrabišici. Csabi check my topic on page 24. To heraldry, in 1257 use this sign Boreš z Rýznburka, one of most powerful bohemian noble. Create yellow (or yellow black) surcoat with rake sighn (not lions and rakes, only rake). Thanks!

Thanks! All help is welcomed! If you wish to help us, so check list of lithuanian lords on page 11 on this topic. To cities, we maybee use you help with this. release date is realistic in 2-3 monts, becouse only I and Lord Szentgyergy working on this mod....

i just searched for some lords and i haven't found any that you didn't write
but .. i think Buteikis should be named as Butigeidis
and for the cities, if you need i can tell you the main cities and towns for Lithuania in the 13th century

I found this 11 lords in polish sources, some family members of king Mindaugas, some concurents etc.... All 11 lords live in 1257 and was minimum 18 years old. If you find better lords, so write to me, I add new lords into our lords list  To cities, this will be actual after some time. We plane create complete new map.
