Quite a few of them are relevant to M&B such as the housecarls, longbows and Varangians(Vagiers?). Although I would have liked a better description of some of the entries, it is still interesting.

Pretty silly, actually. One third of the list is actually about weapons and not soldiers, anyway--there's no reason to expect two different hallberdiers to be equally awesome, for instance.

I would put the mamluks, especially Egyptiam mamluks from the 1250 to 1340 period much higher up the list. After all they thrashed the crusaders and defeated 3 Mongol invasions.

I would also add Mongol horse-archer to that list, probably at the top. These guys created a vast empire that stretched from Hungary to the sea of Japan and defeated virtually everyone they came up against. Except the mamluks and the weather.

Longbowmen is the highest. It goes highest to lowest. Mongolian horse archers should have been up there.
