1. Joining the Cadets
1.1 Requirements & Expectations
Each Zouave Cadet must be proficient in Melee & Shooting, Activity, Respect & Maturity, and Knowledge of Commands.
  • Melee & Shooting - Each Zouave Cadet must show particular skill in either melee or shooting, with some level of skill in the other candidate, and must be willing to improve in both. Tutors will be available during certain trainings. These tutors can also be requested to help those attempting to join the Cadets.
  • Activity - Each Zouave Cadet must show participation in activities. We participate in trainings once a week, and offer four optional Line Battles to choose from every week, as well.
  • Respect & Maturity - Each Zouave Cadet must show maturity when it is requested. Feel free to be wild and crazy whenever we are not in-game, but whenever in a public situation, put on your best suit, and act reasonable and mature.
    • Knowledge of Commands - This one is pretty obvious, so it doesn't require a long explanation. Each Zouave Cadet must be familiar with the commands used.

  • [td]1.2 Tryouts
There are three instances where you can be tested for enlistment to the Zouave Cadets.
    • Sunday, 4:00pm EST - This is the primary training day of the 11th New York. If you would prefer to test your mettle in a public scenario, with a wider range of opponents, this day is for you.
    • Monday, 7:00pm EST - This is the primary tryouts day of the Zouave Cadets. If you would prefer a quieter scenario, with less chance for lag, this day is for you.
    • Approaching Audiate - At any time, you can schedule a tryouts appointment, by contacting me via the forums, or via Steam. Please send a private message to me whichever one you decide; I will most likely not respond to requests elsewhere. Upon contacting me, we will discuss what times work for the both of us, and the tutors, to find out what time works best.

    4. Leadership Opportunities
    4.1 What it takes
To be the Captain, you must be well-known for your leadership capabilities. You must be very active, you must be very skilled at leading in-game, and you must have great people skills, i.e. being able to communicate with people well. This does not mean you must speak different languages, though that's a very good thing to have on your "Captain position resume." We are looking for people who can be nice and tolerant to just about everyone. That is a necessity, but you must also have great leadership skills and experience. We're not only looking for a leader who can lead well, but we're looking for someone willing to bond with their troops.

To be a Lieutenant is not easily achieved, even if you have had the rank previously. You must be very active, as Lieutenants are the back up plans for whenever the Captain can not make it. You must also have similar skills as the Captain.

To be a Sergeant, you must have the ability to take the commands given to you by a (dead) commander, and apply them to the game. That means, if the commander tells you to move the company to a different part of the battlefield, you must be able to quickly round up the men and direct them as the commander directs. This is a rare instance, but it is why we have sergeants.

To be a Corporal, you must be able to attend regularly. The Corporals of the Zouave Cadets will each be assigned 5-7 Cadets/Privates. It will be the Corporals' jobs to contact each of these rankers, and inform them of when an event or training is/will be. Often or not, the corporals wont need to do this, but on certain days, it will be necessary.

Dont think Lime is still going with this, he is on my steam so i will ask him for you

kingscolor 说:
ok thanks

yeah, he isnt commanding it anymore. i think he will when BCoF come out though

I dont think Lime is active on these forums either. He is more active on the FSE forums, as his profile isnt correct anymore.

Stunned Lime isn't running 11thNY for BCoF. I was going to, but I will now be leading the 39thNY. I was the original leader of the 11thNY for the first several months of it.

Not quite, old friend. I might take a stab at it at some point, but I was referring to BCoF.
