Hey Calrades,

I want to share with you some of the scenes I worked upon.

Previews of 30 castle-fortress out of a pack that includes 100 can be seen via the links below.

This pack actually contains around 110 decorative castle-fortress scenes, compensating for the few which were more variations than unique types of fortifications, as well as for the few basic ones. Thusly, there are 100 unique castle-fortresses.

"Decorative" because more focus was put on aesthetic and realism than game-play practicality.

Also included in this pack are many edited native props excellent for decorating scenes (fake windows, doors, roofs, platforms, chimneys, barriers, entrances, turrets, wall vegetations etc). The non-native props visible on some of the images are not shared. Neither are the wall textures included in this pack.

A dream come true!, Did you like, just merge the native props in Open BRF to get a new prop?
They are INSANE!!! OMG !
It's People like yourself who make this game so much more awesome!

I give you thanks for your comments gentlemen. I am happy if playing on these environments can make your game-playing more enjoyable.

To "bpopa27" I answer: If I understand your question well, yes, I indeed edited & merged in Open BRF many of the native objects to come up with new decorative props. All these decorative props/objects (often very small non-obvious details but which render a big difference) are in the pack. It is not at all professional work, I did it to the best of my ability with my limited knowledge, but they look correct if used well. If you like scening, these decorative objects can be useful.

By the way, I love the quote in your signature: "It's more about the Scenes than the actual gameplay!"

To "Comrade Temuzu" I reply: Unfortunately, I only very recently decided to share some of the scenes I worked upon, and because they were not intended to be shared I was building them on the volley on random maps in stead of building them on siege maps. But really, making an AI mesh is very rapid. I learned to use it in a few minutes thanks to available tutorials.
I don't know why, by the way, the edited AI mesh made on a random map disappears on the next loading of the scene. If this wasn't so, we could enjoy AI meshes for these scenes.
I am sorry about that lack though. In this pack I share what I can.

As for the spawn points, they are not included. You can check one section in the "read me" file that comes with the pack. In there you might find useful informations about spawns, which may compensate for that lack.

It is true that these scenes will be useless for many. If they can please but one, I am satisfied. I just didn't want to be the only one.

Cheers

As I am currently preparing pack number 2, with 25 new scenes planned, it could be useful if you wrote here which castle-fortress is your favourite out of the hundred already available. Like this, I can make sure that similar fortifications to your favourite ones are to be finished with priority, and thus for sure included in the next pack. Or you can simply write what type of fortification you'd like to see, what environment, what culture, and what period.

Cheers

I'd much rather have new villages than new castles.

Everyones done castle packs, no one has done any village ones.
