The Khuzait spear duels are far above the Sturgian spear duels, thanks to the shorter, quicker spear.
Could and should be better though.

+1. So much quicker and cleaner. Win or lose, the whole thing is like 90 seconds. And so fun to dodge and weave and make killer connections.

i put them into a wall, drop my weapons and punch them to death, usually animation locks them and its pretty funny

I too just punch them to death, which is just sad really.

They should ditch the shields and just make it spear on spear.

I actually prefer spear duels in Sturgia. Because alternative is an axe that will in the hands of a lord or Veteran Warrior break your shield in no time and then it's just you and your axe against armored tank. Such axe fights in Sturgia feel like battles against the time. Very short time.

Spears on the other hand will not damage shields that fast, piercing damage is better against armor then cutting damage and you can stab those guys in to their only weak spot: their legs.

Also once you get used to it, spear fights are not all that difficult and tedious as is suggested.

Yes it's not difficult and even fun. You dodge, you choose from up or down thrust, you shield bash if they get too close. Once you have some athletics it's easy
