Resolved 1 autocalc battle in campaign got me dead

Summary: I started a nice little campaign in beta and somehow auto calculated battle got my character dead idk maybe it’s a feature but seems counterintuitive that command “send your men” can end up like that :c
How to Reproduce: no clue might be chance alone haven’t happened to me in any run after that but again I haven’t used much autocalc now that I’m scarred
Have you used cheats and if so which:none that I’m aware of
Scene Name (if related):was on top of the village idk if that matters somehow

Computer Specs: seems to me they r irrelevant but correct me if I’m wrong

The player character should not be listed as a member of the party, if you choose to send your troops.
So there is no way that your character can die in a simulated battle, unless you are using mods, who enables the player character to fight in simulated battles.

This is happening in 1.8.0. No mods are needed, your player is now joining auto battles.
