This problem continues in the current version. Same with circle formation. Also after commanding a formation, clicking units to somewhere changes the size of formations.

Please prioritize this, it makes infantry heavy armies painful to play.
With this and the XP+loot bug the release version isn't what we'd call playable.

i agree on tributedaily his opinion. i really hope they will make the units distribution also a bit more advanced, like being able to place crossbows apart from bow units and spear units from sword\mace\shield units. i like to play the game compleetly vanilia so as it supose to being played. i truely hope they will do that 1 day. it would greatly improve the fun for me. bc of the new tactics you can do with that
