1.9.0 Too many horses. Still can't smith armor, but I got 153 and a half variants of a horse to choose from

正在查看此主题的用户

Summary: Ok you added different horses. Great. We've all gotten accustomed to the stats of the horses that were already in the game. Couldn't you have at least left the existing stat lines alone? Please put them back. Keep the new horses if you must, but make a Desert Horse as Desert Horse again. Make a Battanian Thoroughbred a Battanian Thoroughbred again. In fact, don't add all those new horses. What was the point. People aren't asking for that. People are asking to be able to smith armor. Overwhelmingly people have asked you all to let us smith armor. But no. We can have 782 horse variants to choose from, but still can't smith armor. I should be able to craft a bow and arrow for that matter. We've asked wine and oil to be made food products again. Nope. Here.. have another horse. How about a terrain feature like Total War that makes the battlefield we fight on resemble the campagin map. So if I decide to hold a bridge, the enemy will have to cross a bridge to assualt me. Well, at least sometimes that happens. But it doesn't always happen. You know what... here... have another horse. I'm surprised you guys didn't add goats, oxen, Canadian Geese, and fireants to the game.

Somebody's probably going to reply to this thread and say "Ya mad bro?" The answer is yes. I'm at almost 3000 hours playing this game. I've earned the right to be mad. Deal with it. This is by far the most disappointing update you all have released. Maybe if you hadn't announced the official launch I could just consider some more testing and such. Your loyal fan base already owns this game. And you are making content decisions to attract the strap hangers who didn't care enough to buy early release and be your de facto beta testers like me and thousands of others. Stop doing this. Next game TW decides to put out I'm very likely not going to be onboard with that one. Such lack of appreciation. Oh you don't like this latest update. We're sorry.. .Here.. .have a horse.

Not even gonna comment that.

"How about a terrain feature like Total War that makes the battlefield we fight on resemble the campagin map."
- great idea I think Taleworlds are gonna steal this idea from you and then you can sue them!

This is a bug reports section about graphics and performance issues, you must've been too mad to notice or care. Sue TW for making you that mad too!

Great idea huh? You mean the idea they said they were going to implement a year ago and still haven't is a great idea? Wow. You knew that this was the graphics and performance thread (great job), but you didn't know that Taleworlds previously announced they were going to do exactly that with the terrain. Mmm. You're almost there buddy. Your label says veteran, but your mistake was a rookie one. Don't worry, your performance will catch up to that label eventually... I guess. Have another horse bud.

3000 hrs in v1.4 or something? AFAIK, they already did add battle maps relative to campaign map (some tweaking required).
Don't think any one really expected them to add armor smithing into the game (besides maybe at the very start of EA) as that's a huge undertaking I'd assume - they still have to fix weapon smithing.
More horses is inconsequential - I don't even think they added new models so it's just copy/pasting another item with some tweaked stat numbers.

Even who didn't by the game has a right to be mad. I understand the sentiment but this in not the best way to address your disappointment.

As on the second part "This is by far the most disappointing update you all have released"
Can you tell me the number of you dealer? i too want to escape reality as well sometimes

Please do tell me your ideas on how TW can add armor smithing with the same degree of detail (for all its rights and wrongs) as weapon smithing. It would probably be something like; choose base design material (leather, gambeson, etc.) & culture + (optionally) add extra material over the armor (e.g. chainmail over gambeson, scale over leather) and the armor is created. Or give me your suggestions for crafting bows. They will in the end be choose X wood, composite or longbow, the pull weight of the bow, and done. The truth is Armor and Bow crafting would be so much more boring than weapon smithing due to the inherent limits armor designs and bows have. Just because many people want it doesn't make it a good idea to implement (or devote man hours into).

See Witcher III. Next question.

It's often said ignorance is bliss. If you haven't paid attention enough to know this is the worst update, I don't want to ruin your utopia for you.

So if I decide to hold a bridge, the enemy will have to cross a bridge to assualt me.
Yeah, this is disappointing, I have to do the water test because there are a few mapes that have actual bridge chokes, but several that look like they should... but everyone can just go across the water.

What gets me is whenever a "so and so died in child birth" comes up. It's such a nuanced specific thing to be programmed into the game (and has been since EA iirc) where so many common sense things are missing.

Well, they won't do it because it's too complex to add all the armor piece items or something, but what I would sug is something a little more simple: Blueprints can be gained from battle loot or maybe purchased or by destroying a piece of owned gear... this is important though, they need to be accessible to the player or it's useless. No random unlock grinding. These correspond to gear already in the game files. The player simply uses materials to smith them and smithing skill determines chance of +/-modifiers (there is no fail mechanic in game...). I think many players would like to just make matching okay armor set for their clan mates and this would add a little more use to the smithing skill, even if not needed.

I'd also like to make bows too.

Witcher III's armor crafting is pure ****. If you want something like that in Bannerlord, I don't want any sort of armor crafting. It would just be a boring and meaningless grindfest which would add no sense of modularity or uniqueness compared to buying normal armors from stores. You can just as well use the cheat menu to add yourself the armor you want.

This is a decent suggestion, but still doesn't give any sort of uniqueness over plain store-bought armor. I don't get the point of people wanting to create armor if they can already buy the exact same things they want to craft? Just giving us the ability to increase the armor modifier?

Weapons have length, weight, handling, speed and damage as well some attributes like can destroy shields more easily, can be braced, knock down, etc.. This is what makes weapon smithing the slightest bit of interesting in BL. Armor on the other hand only has armor value and weight and doesn't have any customizable parts. Armor smithing in the game would be a pointless "feature" which could be just as well "added" by activating the cheatmode. It's boring and uninspired imo. Bow crafting would also be pointless because it would reasonably have only 2 components: the wood and the string. I would MUCH rather the devs actually add something meaningful to the game experience rather than a glorified cheatmode/store screen with a stamina cost.

Yeah I don't think TW could add anything more complex, I don't remember the wording but changing the individual parts that make armor is too much. I think most players would just make a armor sets they like for their clan mates. I would say change the color, but I think this is tied to the player sigil/faction colors.

Now, being able to change the colour of your armor and clothes, being able to make them more than 1 colour, I'm all for! Honestly one of the biggest changes the devs can make to the game for bringing immersion would be to stop making your units wear mono colour football jerseys. The same troops having different coloured clothes and shields to each other would bring so much life to the game.

You're all always suggesting something way more difficult than it needs to be. Please let me enlighten you plebeians:

This would feel too arcadey - "blue prints for armor" from totally unrelated activities!? No, never, that's just bad for immersion in a game supposed to emulate medieval settings.

Instead I'd be happy to see cultural locks and having special armorsmiths that have special armor knowledge (extremely rare hyper armor) - master smiths that have the t6 faction specific armors - and than a bunch of normies that have up to t5 gear at most - all related to both town prosperity and maybe lore context (although that would need TW to define). Placing the legendary dudes at corners ends would be interesting - could even slap in questlines to unlock them for their respective hometowns
Could even pull something of the sorts with weapons but instead of having them craft for you provided $ + mats (like I would like to see armor smiths do) they'd simply teach you for a price / or as a quest reward unlocking special otherwise impossible to unlock parts for weapons with special effects (like dismount / knock down / etc chances but with t6 dmg or t6 speed)

The issue is that it'll be deemed "too complex™ to be pursued anytime soon™" (read signature for reference) - anything that requires actual work and represents actual good game design TW has refused to do so far, even their own systems weren't fixed in over 2 years of EA like the quests rewarding trait XP to the quest giver instead of the player.... I can't even begin to imagine them adding anything that isn't already in-game, hell I don't even think they'll fix these little muppet mistakes in the code like the aforementioned example, think about it, they had 2 years to fix a code mistake that would take 10 minutes for a high armless muppet with brain damage to fix yet they never even bothered...
