1.70 Speed icon

Just updated to 1.70 beta ..... can we just get rid of the useless speed icon on top of units????Now when we encounter enemy troops we cant see their numbers right away because this icon is blocking the view so we need to either pause the game and wait for it to go away or wait for it to disappear while we continue our movement meanwhile the bandit party run away from our party in fear so by the time we can see their number if we decided that their number is worth killing them now they are further away and we are wasting more time chasing them. As of now a simple mouse over their party would tell us their speed so to me this change is more like a nuisance and waste of time.

Agreed, not a bad idea but needs adjustment in placement and size.

+1, too large and distracting, you should either reduce it or leave it, but it appears when you select the lord's squad with the mouse

The devs said that the information stacking over each other was known and fixed but unfortunately didn't go live.
Should be part of a incoming hot fix.

I fixed it internally(the speed and name texts expand outwards now instead of inwards) but the fix didn't make the 1.7.0. Will try to send it in a hotfix next week.

Actually the speed icon does not last the whole time, it flashes initially then goes away...at least on my campaign map.

Same for me, often it even doesn´t show up.
