Summary:
Whenever I get close to the general area of Sargot (very general. At times this happened even when my army was across the rivers near the city) my game freezes and crashes. This doesn't seem to be a mod issue as I've tried disabling my mods, but the issue still persists. I used the better exception window mod to find to find out what might be causing the error and this is the output:

Tried using dnSpy to debug the game as suggested but the application doesn't see Bannerlord for some reason so that sadly wasn't of much use.

GPU Driver Version: 516.59
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB

Okay so I *think* it's fixed itself. I reloaded an old save and retraced my steps without doing certain things each time to see what was causing the crash and I think I've figured it out. I had accepted the 'Betting Fraud' quest and in Sargot there was a tournament taking place. I tried not accepting the quest and everything seems okay. If anything breaks again I'll post an update here.
 
Were you able to see the crash uploader tool? If you can upload your crash to us we can check it out. Please don't forget to copy the Crash ID and write it here so that we can find it.

So I have tried updating to the e1.8.0 beta to fix the issue and started two new playthroughs one modded, one unmodded but it still persists. Seems like it's crashing on day 15 of the playthroughs. Same exact error message. Oh and here is the crash ID: 2022-08-01_20.32.16_c4a1d9e34d46f4e18419a23f021ac98f
 
Got the same problem when modded, although I have a fix i guess (works for me at least), just I just downgraded mine Harmony to version v2.2.1.80 and game stopped crashing idk weird.

Never mind, crashes still, just few minutes later.
 
The crash id shows a lot of mods. Could you try to crash again on the unmodded game and submit another crash report?
 
Okay so. After disabling all mods and starting a new campaign on e1.8.0 this crash doesn't happen. The saved game I played on before still crashes, even without any mods even though they all are fine to remove mid playthrough. The weird thing is that the crash report shows mods that have crashed even though none are active: 2022-08-02_14.00.28_c4a1d9e34d46f4e18419a23f021ac98f

For now i'll just play unmodded 1.8.0 on a new campaign. Most of my mods weren't that important anyway.

Yep tried that as well and the crash still happens. I've heard from someone that Harmony itself is bugged but i still get a crash without it so 🤷‍♂️

Hey managed to fix it if you're still interested! Im running the 1.7.2v of the game and using

Harmony v2.2.1.80
Butterlib v2.1.13
UI Extender v2.2.1
MCM v4.7.3

everything runs smooth and finally works as it should, also that mod combination "unbricked" my save :smile:

Hi there could you explain how you "unbricked" your saved? but im running on e1.8 now though tried reverting back to 1.7.2 but totally cant load the save file
