1.7.0 Second Generation Child Birth and Pregnancies?

So, I have for the first time reached the second generation, I am still playing as my first gen, but my second gen is out in the world. I have had my son married and he is leading his own party which is in my army, I have his wife in my party. Will this setup generate a pregnancy? Or what should I do to get my son's wife pregnant?
