Yes, I used mods.
Sometimes the raiders just hold there doing nothing, other times they move in the wrong direction away from the caravan. I can provide a save file but unfortunately I have many mods installed. However I believe this bug is not caused by any of my mods.

Hello! I had almost the same issue on unmodded version of the game, but with hostile herdsmen/bandits from "Landlord Needs Access to the Commons" quest. They were going to some random location on the map instead of attacking herdsmen from the quest. Also after I had attacked and defeated them the quest was completed, but herdsmen I was escorting were just standing on the map instead of disappearing from it.

Now, while I am writing this, I just realized I had also exacly the same issue like @order_without_power with bandits and caravan from "Caravan ambush" quest. This bug, like the first one I described here, also happend to me on the unmodded version of the game.

In my case, cause of both of these bugs was active "Needs help with brigands" quest.

I found a thread about these issues:

Maybe I will post there save file later.

Can you still reproduce the exact issue on the latest version as well? Last thing we noted for this issue was that the issue is not present on then latest internal build.
