1.5.5 Enabled Death

I no longer see any check box in any options for enabling death, however, it seems to be enabled by default because I just lost 2 parties full of upgraded troops when their leading companions died in battle. AI and command system isn't good enough for perma death yet, no real way to keep your companions from blindly charging ahead because they get put in the infantry group even though they're cavalry.

Is there a console command to disable permanent death while waiting for this to be resolved?

I'm really disappointed ^^, it's my last day of vacations, I had organized everything for a game session and it's not playable.
