[1.5.1] Healing rate is slowed compared to previous version

When I'm attacked from 3 kingdoms at once , no time for resting 4-5-6 days, I will lose during this time all my settlements. In my current game I have 3 clans fighting for my kingdom against 20 clans Khuzait. South Empire ,Aserai. Its not funny. All my prisoners return after 3 days with full army. At the moment for 3 days I barely reach 25-30% and I am with 160 medicine
exactly they can't keep it normal, i would say 6 days to heal is fine, but give the surgeon a huge bonus to skill making them vital to an army which is the way it should be.
 
Also, what do you think about being healed in ~6 days from 0 to 8 with a 100 Medicine character? Is this fast, is this slow?

6 Days is a very long time in Bannerlord, most players will just re-load the game if they get heavily damaged if it will take that long, thus ignore the medicine skill altogether. I don't know what 0-8 means. I think maybe just putting in the broken healing code from 1.4.3 would be better. I guess we'll see how it feels when we finally get that patch that was ready last friday but nobody could be bothered to upload.

I do strongly hope that Devs consider how absurdly slow the healing skill raises and how poor it's raising mechanics are, when deciding how healing works.
Whatever healer spawns in our game, 60 skill, 80 skill, 120 skill, that's it for the whole game. It just levels too slowly, it will never gain any meaningful level. I've tried knocking out huge amount of my own troops and healing them over and over to raise medicine. It was too slow.

Edit: Further more, armor, even the best in game, barely reduces damage. Players will be taking huge amount of damage in combat. The Devs seem very stubborn about adjusting armor effects and other related thing such as the massive damage increase from speed bonuses.

I typically never stop (accept to make pregnancy) and will fight with 20% hp. So really I guess it doesn't matter that much too me, but I think to many players waiting too long after a javelin (or 2 rocks) to the face will be very annoying.
 
After playing a bit with the hotfix and getting 120 medicine companion (and 2 other for walk it off perk) I think it's fine now. I would still like changes to the slowness and means of raising medicine skill though.

We hope to look into rebalancing some of the skill gains this month. Can't make promises but we're getting there. I'm glad the healing is better. As always, thanks for the feedback.

One thing I noticed is that the 'speed damage to bonus' element of leveling athletics/riding has a huge impact levelling speed--this makes horse archers gain riding at phenomenal speeds. I think the weapon balance would be more even if there was a set skill gain from doing damage on horse/foot with no skill xp bonus for speed gains.
 
in 1.5.0, all stacks of troops heal at the same time and 2-3 will be ready after a days with 60-70 med skill, but after 1.5.1 they are healing too much slower and i notice that only the first stacks heal then go to the second one.
Ex: 10 infantry - 10 cavalry
infantry will slowly heal until they are all finish then cavalry
i hope devs can make it like 1.5.0

Yes, this healing mechanism is making the veteran troops quest much harder than it used to be, as they heal from wounds after the bulk of your team

do you think this is a bug or something ?, i have to stay with 1.5.0. Healing rate is still as same as previous version even they increase it from 5 to 8 but it's now slower than before
I bought this game as soon as it released and after updated, they made troops look fatter and now decrease healing rate. Healing rate from 1.5.0 is very very good for me. I hope they will fix it

It took a while for me to figure out what's the cause.

In beta and live the healing calculated by the following:

Here you can see that the effect of the medicine skill is quite low.

In the new design, the speed of healing calculated based on the formula however this is not yet in the beta-branch:

This means a 12 heal for 100 medicine hero. Which heals you in about 8 days (6.25 days if in settlement) from 0 health(which is rare)

However, in the beta, we did not change anything so the reason we had a decrease in healing was quite interesting.
In 1.4.3 we had a small bug, which made any fraction part of the given healing rate to double every hour and this led to high (but seemingly fine feeling) healing rates. Fixing this bug caused healing rates to plummet.

After the new formula goes into the beta we expect a more balanced experience.

Also, what do you think about being healed in ~6 days from 0 to 100 with a 100 Medicine character? Is this fast, is this slow?

my party has 30 troops and i always knock them all to train my medic skill (i have to say that medic skill raise very very slow even i put 5 focus points and 7 to int) in 1.5.0 i got 2-3 troops healed each day pass, after 1.5.1 only 1 troop is healed. 84 days each years and waiting in town for a week or two just to heal 30 troops is not fun guys, please fix it or give us an option to turn down the difficult for healing rate ( troops)

We will look into the troop healing. Probably it requires a boost as well. Sorry about this one, I did not want to overcompensate for the bug and it seemed OK for my playthroughs. We will increase it further. As always, thanks for the feedback.

Yes,i want to say that the healing rate in 1.5.1 is too slow for me, why the healing rate at 1.5.0 is not good and needs correction, I find it to match That's right and even it makes me feel really down when you change it, I stopped playing for a few days and tried to find a reason to continue. Look at your stats, it takes a long time to heal and only heal the upper groups, the cavalry below are completely useless and have to wait a long time. I just wanted to say that this change was a real blow to me. It's not too important for other players but it's annoying to me.I swear every day I get excited on the way home from work just to play Bannerlord and after 1.5.1 it has let me down, for now I've stopped playing for a few days now and hope that will change in the future.I can't understand, this is an offline game and you guys focus on changing the player's interests instead of the bugs. My excitement for the game is gone now, very annoying and disappointing, I know you guys are trying hard to make the game better but this update made me very sad
If you think the current healing rate is reasonable give me an option so people like me can increase the rate like 1.5.0
edit : after back to 1.5.0 i knocked my party to see how long it takes for them to heal.I'm sure for now they took only a day to heal up 30 troops.And i really like that way. 84days each year means 1 day ingame = 4 days compare to realife and my party ready again for the next battle after 4 days(1 ingame) is reasonable. That's my opinion

I back my game to 1.5.0 and knock my party with 24 mamluk troops, from afternoon 18 summer to afternoon 19summer. 24 troops take only a day to ready for the next battle and i really really love this way. I noticed that each moment i got 3 troops healed after they reach to 15 i got 2 troops each time they heal. I just want to say it make me love this game a lot, please give it back to me, i beg you

After some testing, we greatly increased the healing rates to match the 1.5.0 levels. However, this will take some time to go to the beta and eventually live branches. Your feedback was very valuable to us. Thank you.

i know devs have many things to do but just want to know about this topic, it has no "in progress or solved", i have seen healing rate problem in the Know Issues note but it's now dissapear,please tell me it's in progress
