That's a bit sad, they made something really amazing. And they actually released a new version just a few weeks ago

Not sure why you say gave up on the mod when there are preview pics of upcoming units on the discord and moddb that were posted in April.

The dev didn't give up on the mod. As mentioned already, he just released a new update. In the comments on the Moddb page he wrote [in regards to the progress]:

"Sorry lads! Like I mentioned on the Discord server, RL events are currently keeping me heavily occupied leaving me with little time to rap up the hotfix and the release on the steamworkshop.

Can't promise any major changes regarding that in the coming time.. Will keep ya all informed!

Don't forget to mention any issues you have found so far! It helps immensely!
