[1.4] Both as king and as army-leader, I´m just a joke to the game atm

For me the game is almost unplayable at the moment. You simply can´t take sufficiant impact on the game due to broken or not yet implemented game mechanics, neither as king nor as army-leader.

Some examples :

Making peace in dialogues with clanleaders you meet on the map --> Not possible (broken or intended?) at the moment

Persuading lords to join your kingdom --> Way harder than before. Unless your reputation with them is high, it´s totally pointless to win the rng-dialogue, for joining they simply demand ALL you have and it´s not enough by far.

Raising your reputation by letting beaten lords go after battle --> Seems also broken somehow lately, because most of the time my troop-leaders take the majority of the prisoners.This came to a peak in my last battle : I just defeated Detherts main-army in a hard fight that took almost half an hour and cost me 1/3 of my army (in total i outnumbered his army with 800->650 but he outnumbered my Cav with 200(!)->50, so it was a hard cookie). Off course, Dethert was accompanied by numerous Lords, just guess for how many i (as army-leader) was "allowed" to decide whether they can go or not? For NONE! Not for a single one!

So whats this **** all about? Wasn´t the game just hard enough before?

At he moment I´m a vassall, but becoming king takes the joke even farther as the "Puppet-King-Threat" points out suffiantly.
 
For me in my last 2 play thru's as king after paying 270k to 430k denars to a vassal prospect, they leave my kingdom in 5 to 15 minutes, with no interactions with me at all. If your lucky enough to get a "honor bound" result (ergeon, mesui do this every time), they leave almost immediately. I have honor bound recruited both Mesui and Ergeon multiple times and put them in my army, and they leave my kingdom within 5 minutes for another kingdom. Also with patch 1.4.1.231343 you, the player kingdom, cannot recruit nobles that are the head of a army but the ai can recruit your mercenary bands when it's leader is in your army, this has also happened with nobles (Mesui, Ergeon) prior to this current patch.

"F5" for quicksave and "Esc" for menu--> Reload where probably my most used keys on my keyboard lately. Whether Lords leave your kingdom or not seems to be calculated by the game once or maybe twice a day. I figured out, that by continously saving/reloading you can "buy" a delay until the game finally comes up with a new meaness, like a suicidal war-declaration. After some days however the game seems to "forget" about bullying you around and you are allowed to play "peacefully" for a decent time.
But off course I never stop saving my game frequently (actually theres no other game i remember using the save-function SUCH often) but this is by the moment the only workaround.

Imo theres a BIG difference between a challenging game thats hard to beat and a game that just "decides" to take away your hard earned aquisitions in a heartbeat. Like I said, basically the game is almost unplayable atm. Just updated to 1.4.1. I´m curios whether at least the 20 days truce works. The said to be fixed issue with setllement-starvation however seems to remain further, at least for Lavenia Castle (which is my only settlement atm).

Truce seems to be working in 1.4.1 War declarations are more frequent now also. Troops starving is greatly reduced. For me 1 garrison troop starts starving at -15 food. 1 garrison and 1 militia start starving around -20 food. Worst I have seen is -37 food and still 1 garrison troop and 1 militia troop were starving. I have starved out many castles/settlements that outnumbered my army, up to -75 food for -10 militia -13 garrison +4 militia per day. Yes militia troops were still added while starving the target out.
