Resolved [1.4.1] Savegame "says" I have 18 prisoners with me, but I actually have over 100

I noticed many, many times, the longer you carry bigger amounts of prisoners with you, the smaller is the chance to recruit them eventually. Especially when I save and exit the game and reload, the "older" prisoners seem to be no longer recruitable. The prisoners are not too high in level, they are all recruitable in theory.

Now, I stumbled over a discrepancy : The tooltip of my savegame shows far less prisoners than I actually carry with me.





This intensifies my suspicion, that the game somehow "forgets" about the prisoners I made longer times ago and that i just carry around dead meat after some time.

I have noticed this as well, though I assumed the load-screen report only includes prisoners ready to be recruited into the party, rather than all prisoners.

The value in my loadscreen-report would be 0, if this would be the case, because none of my 102 prisoners is ready for recruitment atm.
 
I believe you have 18 different “stacks”, .or prisoner types. I’ve noticed this in the past and it has been the case for me. Example from a new game is if I capture 10 looters and 5 sea raiders, my total prisoners will list 2.

Hah... thats it. You are right.

But what about my suspicion regarding "older prisoners"? Just my imagination? I still have the feeling that if I couldn´t recruit prisoners in, let´s say 5 days, i probably won´t recruit them ever. I allready parked bigger amounts of older prsioners in one of my keeps for test purposes and took them back into my party shortly after, to somekind "refresh" their status into "newly captured" ones. But then comes the point, where I just sell or donate them all and every time it feels like I cleared a blockage, because after that recruitment of new prisoners seems to work more frequently again.

Heres an example : In times of peace, I like to farm steppe-bandit camps for supplies in mounted archers. After clearing some camps, I usually have ~15-20 steppe bandits, marauders and raiders, each. In the first following days I´m able to recruit some of them but after a while they become like dead meat, like i said in my post above.

Is there even a skill that affects the speed or the amount of recruitment? And if so, which one is it? Steward? Leadership?
 
I believe it is intended to be tied to roguery skills, but they are not currently implemented.
Bannerlord Perks has a list of all the perks and current functionality.

I’m not sure if this is outdated, but I know higher tiered troops couldn’t be recruited (tier 5 and tier 6)

I *think* I remember seeing something about recruitment chances only applying once per stack per day.

Both of the above may have changed.
 
I have been informed that this issue is fixed on our development branch and the fix will be implemented with the upcoming patches. Thanks for reporting!
