So, deep into a 1.4.1 playthrough (Spring 1093), this is what I have noticed so far.

I have played a vassel of Battania from the early on. Currently there are 3 factions in play, Battania (Str: 36,789), Khuzait (Str: 28,900) and Southern Empire (Str: 17,632). Sturgia, Vlandia, and Aeseri, Western Emp and Northern Emp are all <100 str (no fiefs).

Battania (my faction) is currently at war with 6/7 of the factions.

Of the 5 factions that are functionally eliminated (less then 100 str and no fiefs), we are at war with 4 of them, 3 of which are demanding tribute FROM US to end the war. The one of them that will pay us tribute of millions, even though the prompt states there is 100% support to end the war with this awesome amount of money, when I propose it, I am the lone supporter, everyone else in the kingdom opposes and it fails. Clearly there is something not working here. Ultimately we need a 'faction has been eliminated' mechanism.

Secondly, fief distribution problems. I have led armies to obliterate other factions and have sucked up to Caladog (80+ faction), yet still have only 1 castle and 1 town. Since getting those fiefs (very early on), I have conquered many towns and castles, yet have never been even a consideration in any of the subsequent victories, while people with more fiefs then me continue to be on the voting list. I've spread my influence to just about everyone, have positive faction with everyone in the kingdom, yet get zero consideration on new fiefs.

Leaders of armies that take cities/castles should automatically be one of the 3 picks (IMHO), this was always a big factor in warband, and I believe should continue to be so. We spend the influence and organize the battle, we should be at least in the running for the spoils.

Also, ladders continue to be a mess in sieges. Huge clumps of people standing around the base of the ladders with no one using them. I literally have to push people into them in order for some of them to start climbing. Pathing needs some more work here.

Otherwise, I am continuing to have good fun playing the game (300+hrs), thanks for your efforts and hard work!

I dont even use ladders anymore, siege engines to crack the walls, then charge through the breach is honestly the best way. Save almost 3/4 of the troops, engineering skill goes up too.
But i agree with everything else! Haven't played 1.4.1 yet because it doesn't work on GeForce Now for some reason, but have watched gameplay and read the forums, pretty sure everyone agrees.
