I think not, you'd have to add the battle morale code into the craftmod source. overwriting the text files will mess up craftmod.
 
Is anybody else experiencing the Champion screen constantly coming up...about every three seconds in my case?  You know...the one where they ask if there are "Any orders, Sir?"

This has become very annoying!  It only happens in CraftMod...not in vanilla M&B.



Edit:  Is that the "Hero conversations" you mention as fixed in the newest 1.8.3 version?

 
I've been trying to craft a composite bow, but no matter what combination of woods I bring to the Fletcher, it always tells me that I cannot make one.

Damn... I liked the idea of Battle Morale  :grin: On the other hand, now I have two great mods to play  :grin:

Same thing. When I try to make arrows, it asks what kind of arrowshafts you want to use and freezes.

I've been doing a lot of researching into how to craft...

When the craft asks you for something to craft with, you have to have it in your inventory!  If you don't have it, go buy it, find it or make it!

eg.  Bow requires yew wood...so buy it or go to the woods and cut it down!
      Handles for weapons require oak or ash...so, see above!  (Makes sense since ash is whats used to make baseball bats)
      Kite shield requires kite frame, which (if I remember correctly) is made at the blacksmiths.

Some items actually require multiple amounts of the same item, such as hides or leather to make mid-range armored outfits!

Oh, very important!  Every item I've tried to build so far requires TOOLS!!  Makes sense huh?!

Try this for the woods...buy a hatchet, go to the blacksmith (I think that is where I did it) and 'upgrade' your hatchet through all the grades until you arrive at Powerful Hatchet.  Now go to the woods right outside of Ambean, enter and approach trees that have dark appearance (they have to be dead or dying, I guess).  Make sure you have your hatchet available and cut down trees to your hearts content!  Keep looking around because there are several types of trees available!

Still trying to figure out how to turn iron into steel, because smelting won't work despite having tools and iron in my inventory.

You need both coal and iron to make steel.
 
Wow, now I'm interested, I once were about to download the craftmod for 0.903 but it didnt look very interesting, but now...
this is something else.  :razz:
 
Its very fun. The only problem is I got another CTD. Its the Scab_falchion error thing. I was doing awesome. But I cant attack mountain bandits without this error. sooooooooo............... please make a fix  :mrgreen:
 
Currently struggling with making my sensitive craft option-denying script work with arrows and a new feature, item queries, which will let you search for any item to learn its crafting necessities.

Found the mine!  For those of you who haven't...it's on the hill above Suno.  Very weak on supplying coal that is much needed for smelting fine metals!

Have found a horse ranch...but cannot figure out how to raise or train horses!  Anybody tried this yet with nay positive results?  BTW...it's right outside of Praven.

Dialogue window with Champions popping up (Jeremus especially!) every 3 to 4 seconds is absolutely driving me crazy!!  Has anybody else experienced this?  Is there a fix in the works?

Suggestion maybe?  At least one more mine (two would be preferable) so there is a larger supply of coal and one more ranch.

Does anybody have any idea when v. 1.8.3 might be out?

There's another mine in the pass between the vaegir and khergit lands, and the hero error has already been suggested 3 times.

If there is to be another horse ranch it should be in Khergit lands to make sense.

My suggestion in the meantime for the heroes is to just kick them out of your squad when they start pissing you off.

Also I've found a work-around for making damascene steel axes.  You have to have both an ordinary axe head and the same axe head made of damascene so you can reach the dialogue window.  Then you can make the whole axe out of damascene.

Also I can't make Javelins and such, and where am I supposed to get black powder besides from mining vendors?
 
Yeah...I've tried kicking the Hero out of the squad!  Another one just starts doing the same thing!

If I remember correctly, black powder has been sold by the goods merchant from time to time.  Appears as a keg just like ale.

I agree with the second horse ranch on Kergit lands.  But still can't figure out how to raise or train horses!

Still though, this Mod is fantastic fun!

Darn it...I still cannot figure out how to work with the horse ranch!!
 
Added item queries (working fully now), fixed the big problem that was keeping retainers from working, DEFINITELY fixed scab_falchion this time, and I think I've got arrowcrafting licked as well. Release later today.
