(0.960) A few conversation issues, also faction annihilation

Firstly the conversation issues. I have raised spelling & grammar before, but if this is the last beta and nothing has been done to remedy, I thought I should post a reminder. I include in this where the word used is entirely wrong; I suggest checking all instances of "their"/"they're"/"there"; I don't know if there are any such mistakes, but these are common errors. but the example I was thinking of is when sentries are asked, "How goes the watch, soldier?", they respond with "All quite sir. Nothing to report", which should be "all quiet here".

Also, if companions are garrisoned inside the player's castle, upon entering the lord's hall and speaking with them they come out with a hostile phrase "Surrender or die. Make your choice" (which is missing punctuation after 'choice'  - exclamation mark would be best I think)

In addition, after winning the civil war (i.e. supporting a claimant) the 'faction eliminated' screen had an error - I can't quite remember, but it used the term 'no faction' or 'no land' or something similar.

That's all that comes to mind at the mo, but I'm sure I've seen more.

And finally - if I was to go over all of the conversations in the native module, correcting mistakes and perhaps editing grammar, would my efforts be used? I can foresee it taking quite some time, but I might be willing to do it if a dev said they'd use it (if a mod or something could suggest it to one of them, I'd appreciate it).

I have recently captured some kings and locked them up for a long time in my castle with prison tower. I got some ransom offers and refused all.

Recently I took one king with me as prisoner to see what happens if I speak with one of his factions lords...because in the faction lord conversation menu one can always pick "I want to restore my oath to king XY" when you are a rebel faction (warlord faction you against the world, so not helping a claimant or something) or something like this and I wanted to see if it changes something if I take the king with me.

When I had the king with me as prisoner the other lord still told me that I should talk to king XY in that matter, ignoring the fact that I had him with me, lol.

Furthermore he did not offer me ransom or anything to set the king free. I wonder if I will ever get more ransom offers for king XY. If not, that should be changed or there should be some method implemented of "selling" kings as prisoners manually (for example to a rival faction that would be funny too :wink:). Or you should be able to put him into the "pranger" (thats some sort of publically available cage to ridicule him), setting his relation to you to -100 instantly (ROFL). Or something :smile:))

Hello,

thanks for your reply...but I fear this wont work...I am playing as the rebel faction (me against the world) and I dont have any lords therefore. I heard it is not possible to get any lords as rebel faction (the "against everyone" rebel faction, there are 2 different rebel factions) unless an enemy faction is destroyed or something. Lords with whom you have a good relation would join you then, but I am not sure if I really got that right, could be a tale too :wink:
