Sometimes, if I'm coming around a mountain on the world map (espescially the big U-shaped one in the center), I'll get stuck around the edge. Both times this has happened, I've been in the middle of getting chased, and my few seconds of frantic clicking makes the horseman icon turn and look in different directions, but won't free me.
