(0.632) Strange video slow downs at times.

Sometimes when I go from "World View" to "Battle" or "Town" view the video gets very choppy. Sluggish response to mouse and keys. I tried fiddling with Mouse sensativity, but didn't really help.

Strangely enough I did find something to cure it. If I Alt-Tab back to the Windows Desktop and then Alt-Tab right back to the game everything is better. Sure that isn't too hard to do, but still a little annoying.

Should I run in a certain full screen resolution? Should I run windowed?

I'm currently running Windows XP Pro Full Screen @ 1024x768 (32-bit color) I don't run anything else while playing other than my 802.11b Config Utility.

System Specs. (For reference)

Nvidia GeForce4 440 (Go) - Laptop
2.6MHz P4
512 DDR
60 GB HD
Windows XP Pro - SP2
DirectX 9.0c

I had to find "tweaked" video drivers to get past the character creation. I was getting tons of gibberish and artifact characters. Not to mention the "exploded" heads.

Hey, this might be the same issue here===>Linky I did try a Search, but this link I found just by reading tons of posts.

Hope I'm not annoying you too much. 2nd Day and I already have two posts up on Bug Reports.

Im sure Armagan will fix it

(this is the part where armagan rides out on his charger, full black armour with his laptop on the horses neck and says "so what seems to be the problem?)

I'm sure he'll get to it. It hasn't stopped me from playing that's for sure. I just can't wait till I'm stronger, with more men.

I plan on helping debug this game as much as possible. It will definitely be worth it.

The sluggish response sometimes is probably due to running out of video resources (probably graphics card memory) due to inefficient usage at some point (I am not sure if this is my or directX's mistake. I am trying to do things right with respect to the documentation. )

Hitting Alt+Enter, as a by-product, resets the video state clearing up everything. So you can do that (hit Alt+enter twice) every now and then as a temporary fix, until I can find a solution for this.
