(0.632) - Spawning on a mountain in battle

Once or twice I have spawned with my inventory on the slope of a mountain - as soon as I spawn, I slip down and my horse dies. Then I'm either left on the ground or in a river, horseless and with nothing but a shield and lance. This is a big bugger as you might imagine, as I usually lead the main attack force to scatter the enemies. All I can do is hold forward and watch my troops being slaughtered before my eyes as I trudge along in heavy, rusty armor in the middle of a stream.

When I have finally got to the shore I am instantly ambushed by pike and mace-wielding troops, my shield is smashed and I'm pinned to the ground.

This is completely unfair, I can understand perhaps spawning on TOP of the hill, but surely not on the slope.

This has been brought up a few times already and its, IIRC which I might not, its being worked on. Just next time, try not to charge into the battle until you can look around and see where your at. Walk down the mountain, flying has bad effects =

A tip though, if you find yourself in that situation, tab out of the battlefield and re-enter it.

This happens at the very second you spawn - without moving an inch.

Don't you run the risk of getting casualties if you do that?
