I get this quite regularly. It happens when I am finished and quit the game (exit to windows). It goes straight to a blue screen telling me that an error has occurred and that I should contact my administrator (yeah right). It then proceeds to dump memory to disk.
Here's the funny thing. The first time it happened - the character I was playing with got majorly screwed up. All their "physiscal appearance" settings were set to zero. She was a pretty girl until this happened, when I reloaded - she looked like a cancer patient after chemo. Also, when I loaded the save game file, all the traders disappeared (you'd go to the shop and there would be no one there). After I fixed up her face and played a little more, the save game file refused to load, so I had to delete it.
Now I get this screen every now and again but (knock on wood) it hasn't affected my characters yet. It did reset all the option settings though (setting volume, battle size, mouse sensitivity, etc to minimum).
