Updated 26/06/2020 for Beta 1.4.2, see below for 1.4.3+ (Post Code Refactoring)
I wanted to make this thread to try to funnel the feedback over the Alpha - Beta - Main Branch. I propose trying the make a list of the most striking features introduced to the game by the Alpha - Beta process and keep updated which features are ready to be pushed to the next branch and which should stay in their branch for fine tuning according to the feedback I see on the forums.
This thread is not about bugs or missing features, this belongs in Technical Support or in Suggestions. This thread is for feedback on features (and problems) that started in the Beta or the Alpha, to prevent the bad ones from climbing the ladder up to the Main Branch
I don't play Multiplayer, but if an update part of the Alpha - Beta process includes a bug to multiplayer, let me know and I'll add it.

Legend
Blue means 'this feature received support from what I can gather from the forums, it is ready to push to the next branch',
Green means 'great in theory but not working or not finished',
Yellow means 'this feature received mixed or bad support, should probably stay in a lower branch for fine tuning / testing / fixing',
Red means 'bug / broken mecanic / unintended consequence introduced in or after the start of the Beta 1.1.0 that should be removed'
Grey and πŸ”¬β” means unassigned yet, if you are able to test it, please comment your results.

Important : This thread is not about issues there from the start, if you want to contribute, simply comment about an issue new to a Beta Patch (really important that it wasn't present from the start) and ideally, link a thread discussing this. Because of the number of comments, I will not be answering comments about issues from before Beta 1.1.0. Every comments discussing an issue in the table, the colour of them, linking a mod to fix them, adding one issue or feature (specifying which Beta Patch it needs to be put in) are welcomed!

You can click on the titles in the tables for a link to the thread. Of course, let me know if I forgot something important. I'll link threads discussing the matter, but due to a lack of space I won't name them, they will simply be listed as [link].

Siege pathing is still abhorrent on 1.2.0

A small number of troops invaded up the siege tower,
but the rest just kept running at the wall,
then every so often a small trickle of men would double back to use the siege tower.
This lets the defenders mow them down easily on the walls.

The 1.2.0 patchnotes also discussed a specific fix to Battering rams - that your invaders wanted to stand on the other side of the door so they'd run over the ladders and scale the walls to get to the other side of the door, rather than hacking through it. This has not fully been fixed.

The AI prioritises getting to the other side of the Gatehouse doors too much. It doesn't fight other enemies until a critical % of allies have reached the far side of the door

Greens hanging around (waiting for reinforcements) on the far side of the gatehouse door, when they could be hunting down the pinks and helping their people still scaling the ladders.

Just hanging around by the door when they could be helping their green allies take that wall.

Still hanging around waiting for reinforcements, despite dozens of troops being in a good position to go kill the pink defenders.

In the last shot you see that the vast majority of the army had reached the far side (or rather, all the other green AIs that were not near the doors had died, so it amounts to the same thing) of the door so they now switch to an "extermination" sub-routine and hunt down the defenders

Apparently the caravan nerf has nothing to do with towns bankrupting:
I noticed that, Towns had 1 to 6k at the very moment I launched the game after the Beta 1.2.0 update, that's why I didn't list 'Towns running out of money' yet. I'll add it in yellow in the Beta 1.2.0 table, thank you!
Would be great if somebody in Main 1.1.0 can confirm if towns are poor or if it's limited to Beta 1.2.0?

Good thread, nice and tidy.
I don't see broken crafting issue here. You can basically craft some of the finest 2h swords and javelins from dirt cheap iron/wood and sell them for tens of thousands. Also caravans restocking cash every time you trade we them. And quest companions (Family Feud, Daughter) being un-dressable. Every bug/exploit is present in 1.1 (99% sure this is valid for 1.2).
And the most glaring thing right now - where is "towns have zero cash and the world economy is broken"?

The goal of the thread is to list features and content introduced to the game through the Alpha - Beta - Main process, the things you mentionned are mostly exploits there from the start of the game, they have never been subjected to the Alpha-Beta-Main path, and therefore belong in 'technical support'
And the most glaring thing right now - where is "towns have zero cash and the world economy is broken"?
Did not see the World economy crash in my game, but since Towns seem to have way less money in Beta 1.2.0 I added it in yellow, because I'm sure they are going somewhere with this, it's just really not fine tuned yet, it belongs in Beta.

This thread is great but I kind of wish the devs would set up a trello board (or similar) to track reports in a (imo) more useful manner. Forum threads are kind of a mess after a while, and tend to duplicate - see the ****fest in the bug report part of the forum.

If they want us to properly report stuff, give us the tools to do so.

Case in point: Minecraft JIRA

I would love that too, but until I find a better title and updated it enough, I don't think it's possible ahah. I'm francophone (French is my native language but I'm not from France) and catchy titles are hard to find to be honest
