Is there a way to view all models instead of tedious rebooting game every time you want to see how an item look like?

Not to my knowelege, no. At least until Taleworlds give us some tools for making mesh swaping easier, otherwise we can only wait for the game to be out, and then put some cheats for making all the items available in our inventory.
Untill then the best and eaisest way of viewing every armor piece are our armor galleries compiled in the second post of this thread.

Yall want any more o them battanians? I've given a couple of them a remake. I actually really like the fiann scale-armor once you couple it with other armor pieces than the respective arms/legs/pauldrons

Edit: I was quite lazy because it's a lot of work, but i promise that soontm i will arrange the second post of the thread for concepts already made but couldn't fit OP character number, and for the future ones as well.

I like the experiment. Especially the "ranger" unit. It goes from being a distant cousin of Chewbacca to a consistent Battanian archetype.

These are much better than the standard ones. My only criticism would be that the Improved armor Mounted Warrior looks too tanky for its low armor value.

The improved armor one looks great, but I think it's too much for a legionary. This guy looks more like a general than a regular soldier.

It appears that Onedrive won't let me open the xlsx gallery files becaus they're too big. I don't have Microsoft Office. Is there any other way for me to open these files?

Good job to everyone, sorry if i don`t post often, i want to post material of my own when i do, but i really liked every concept so far, i`m so glad we`re expanding our mind pool for aesthetic brainstorming

Try downloading my tables, i segmented them into body parts, thus they are small files separated like that, don`t post URL, but chose the file from your directory after you download it. As for the big ones of 400+MB, i will make something up for you .

I was going to mention that, you can do the trials infinitely over and over

I have succumbed to the peer pressure and have tried my hand at some model-swapping. Nothing too fancy.

Here is my light legionary. A poorer soldier who has managed to buy a chainmail body armor. I think this could fit with Klausolus' light infantry class idea. Empire having the tankier light infantry, similar to Aserai having the best peasant infantry.
25~30 armor

Here is my veteran legionary. A veteran soldier who has amassed enough wealth through his campaigns to acquire a full set of heavy armor.
~45 armor

Here is my (barely changed) Cataphract. This one didn't like the ****ty leather straps on his shoulders so he replaced them with actual armor instead. He forgot to get rid of the belts around his chest though.
~50 armor

The Khan guards could it be a mounted archers with glaive and sword like in the gamescom. Also, could be a dismounted version like in the beta with sword and shield.

Tell me, how someone who have mail hauberk should have less armor than unit that also have mail hauberk ? This unit have similar armor than Aserai veteran (and not much worse armor than Huscarl, it just have mail mittens and better helmet). Tell me, why you think that 25 is good armor value for mail, when there are units with up to 40 mail wearing just mail armor ?

Difference between those two armors are way too high, both are basically lammellar armor over mail, with quite closed helmets (i'd use current legionary helmet, but ymmv) so difference should be ~1-2 armor tops, not 5. Sure, they both should be around ~45-50 value (you got it right).
