I have gathered a lot of suggestion along my play-trough. I have made identical post on steam forum but I would like to share it here since this is the only place that the dev would read
Firstly this is my thought of skill gain
Levels too fast
>Steward
>Medic
>Smithing
Okay Ratio but maybe...
The description of Sharpshooter (Riding skill) says "Accuracy improved by %15 while on horseback".
All other traits always put the percent sign after the number, e.g. Mounted Archer (10% less penalty ...), Cavalry (10% less penalty ...), Horse Grooming (... increased by 50%), Trampler (50% to...
Hello and welcome.
I see quite a lot of discussions about character progression system in the game and ideas on how to change/improve it.
I'd like to suggest something that might serve as a "bridge" between warband 'XP/kill -> player LVL -> skill improvement' and bannerlords 'usage of skill ->...
I was looking at the encyclopedia and when i ran my mouse across an NPC's skills i noticed they all had "ERROR: newline variable has not been set before". I don't know if this is helpfull but I thought I should point it out
Currently for all skills in the game, the total modifier for learning a skill is being cut off in the tens place onwards. This means that if you have a modifier of + 21.7 to smithing, you will actually only get a +1.7 (or at least this is what is displayed). If you have say +75.20, +22.63, and...
I got like 5-10 tracking at the start. I want to raise it, I got 21 at some point, but it is not raising, no matter what I am doing. I traveled through forest, saw tracks and Tracking).
Hello, I am sending out a list of problems I have come across during my play time that I have yet to see spoken of on the forums!
Firstly are the dialogue options. I see reoccurring bugs when speaking to companions in taverns. When speaking about their backstory, it will be replaced by "This is...
Hello once more,
Observation:
Some people have been calling the new skill system grindy, in that you need attribute/focus points to increase skill caps, but you need to level up skills to get these. At some point in the game, leveling the skills you're looking to increase doesn't cut it, and...
in the two-hand flap there is a skill called "deflect arrows" how does it work?
and when I enable the option to allow death, how does it work? why sometimes it appears that some heroes "died in battle" but when the combat ends the dialogue appears to arrest or release them
The skill says you can equip any bow on horseback but I can't equip the Western Yew Bow on horseback.
Am I misunderstanding how the skill works or is this bugged?
Hey guys, loving the singleplayer so far but it does have its fair share of issues. I have some suggestions and ideas to help solve some of the current issues in the economy aspect of gameplay!
Once you get some workshops and caravans out its practically impossible to not be rich. It's very...
The choice of perks at the end of the 2handed tree seems awfully unbalanced.
-Two handed Mastery: gives +0.2% speed/+0.5% damage per point in 2handed after 200
-Deflect Arrows: gives a chance of deflecting arrows.
Two handed mastery will ensure you keep getting stronger (independent of gear)...
I am playing as a full cav army Khuzait horde and was checking out the troop stats (hovering mouse over troop tree icons)
And it comes to my attention that the Khuzait Heavy Lancer has only 10 skill points in Polearm.
Possibly an oversight?
Problem: In order to start your own kingdom you must either be an unprovoked aggressor or a dishonorable vassal. This creates huge role playing issues and makes it unnecessarily difficult to start your own faction.
Solution: Add two or three destroyed/ruined settlements that the player can...
Tournaments should normally be a way of improving your weapon skills and athletics.
Are you working on implementing that?
Is there anyone where it is working? Tried it on easy and on realistic difficulties
Please make possible to gain experience in Tournaments and Practice Battles, because not everyone like to hunt bandits or go to war to gain combat skills and perks.
Im currently playing as an merchant that goes from town to town to trade goods but also love to participate in Tournaments when...
Summary: Companions will always auto allocate the skill points whether you disabled it or not.
How to Reproduce. Start a new game. Untick auto allocation of skill points. It will work in-game for 1 day, afterwards all companions allover the map will auto distribute the skillpoints.
My character had about 400+xp in the Charm skill that was reset to 1 and now doesnt seem to level up at all. Tried spamming numerous family feud missions and interactions with lords passing charm checks successfully over numerous hours of gameplay and it's still locked at 1. I've tried creating...
Summary: I applied the reeve skill but it don't work.
How to Reproduce: Reech lvl 200 steward, apply the reeve skill (+1 companion), The companion's limit is still the same and you can't hire a new one.
