SP - Economy Ways to increase spending (ideas)

Hey! Just summing-up some suggestions from the main thread. I'm sinking in gold same as many other players. No need for quests, no tournaments, don't care about shop prices, just fully upgraded my single castle and doesn't matter if it's profitable. I have no workshops, no caravans, one castle...

SP - Economy Infinite income issue and solutions

Making money is way too easy. Once you have some caravans/workshop basically an infinite stream of income no matter how much you get captured. We need some kind of system that threatens your finance if you are not careful... what to do? Some suggestions: Make denars (gold) have weight. This...

Option to turn off King's support

King support +300 gold/daily is like a cheat. I left it on for a few days and could afford a 25k caravan doing nothing but waiting. Please nerf it like King will only support it for a limited time. Or please provide an option to turn it off in campaign options, similar to easy->difficult
  4. What to use money on.

I have 200k gold, and my kingdom is doing poorly, i have no fiefs whatsoever and can't conquer anything even though i have 250 units. I already have caravans which get me gold and still need a long way to go to have enough influence to win a battle and earn the castle (they just give it to others).

Economy - durability as way to increase spending

Well, I was whining on how much gold do I have when I had only 1 casle. Now I have 2 castles, 2000 - 3000 income and 300k coins. I almost don't take no loot excerpt something useful. All my parties, companions and I can't spend them no matter what. So maybe equipment durability might add a lot...
  6. sturgian economy affect faction survivability

Summary: the sturgian economy is centered around the export of flax and furs and import of other raw resources. nearly all towns have workshops that demand resources not found anywhere in sturgian lands. since resources are first used locally, and thus become scarce for import, the sturgian...
  7. Rogue life experience, expectations and some observations

English is not my native language, so mistakes could be made. I tried to play “rogue” style campaign. This is my third one, but first one on realistic. I got myself army of ~100 bandits, mostly forest ones and sea rider chiefs. To balance movement speed of my party i needed few Highwaymen. To...
  8. SP - General Persistent Workshops

Hello guys, just saved 14000 for my first workshop. Not the best one, was giving me between 8-30 golds each day. Problem is, it worked for only a week - then the city was taken and now I have nothing. So for my investment of 14000, I got a value of about 200. And nothing I could have done to...
  9. SP - Economy Please Add More Investment Options for Settlements

First off, thank you to the development team for continuing to update and support the game, and thank you for taking the time to create/read these forums for the player-base. An area that most of us believe needs some tweaking is certainly settlements, for a few reasons. Currently, settlements...

    Economy - everything's so cheap..

I understand that it's beta and most likely current economy model is fit for testing meanings. But anyway thought that someone should mention all that. Well. I'am on my first playthrough, so it's just what I've noticed so far: Income is too high even if you run a gang of recruits. In a while...
  11. Crossbows and bows are way too overpriced

Currently bows and crossbows are way too overpriced. I understand that high tier weapons are expensive and are going to cost quite a bit. But currently even a normal tier 3 bow goes for about 5-10k. This seems to be the case accros all cities with very few exceptions. Would really like to play...
  12. Broken economy

While playing single player on the campaign map, during war i had an army consisting of ~210 troops (82 mine and ~130 kingdom ally bought with influence), and was skirmishing with various lords near a city. They generally consisted of around 30-50 troops but I was able to beat them, and of...
  13. Where is the ARMOR?

I know that supposedly 200+ armors got added back into the game, but where the hell are they??? I've travelled all the empire cities for 20 days, and their armor never updated and just has crap tier armor. Is everything locked behind clan tier? (i'm clan tier 2 right now) If that's the case...
  14. some suggestions from Chinese player

Compare with M&B 1,this game doesn't change a lot in gameplay.M&B2 is more like a HD remaster of M&B2,i mean, maybe you can add more details to political and economic system to make it more realistic. And at the same time ,keep the playfulness of the game itself. For example,a self-edit formation...

SP - General Economy Changes and Money Sinks

Hey guys, loving the singleplayer so far but it does have its fair share of issues. I have some suggestions and ideas to help solve some of the current issues in the economy aspect of gameplay! Once you get some workshops and caravans out its practically impossible to not be rich. It's very...
  16. Buying Clans is too expensive

So after a some time playing and founding my own empire, i tried to bribe some clans to join my cause. After persuading one of the clanleaders(Olek), i had to bribe him to actually join me. I had around 150k Denars at that time and an Inventory prob. worth another 30k. After givin him all of...
  17. SP - General Farms, Workshops, Production Chains, Businesses and trade tacts

Farms Allowing players too build farms in villages would be a great idea. Such as wheat or hops etc. This could greatly improve the merchant gameplay and feed into my other suggestions in this thread and in others. Workshops Expanding workshops too process items produced in farms or even...
  18. SP - General creating your own caravans + better informations

One thing that bothers me is that you can't create your own caravans with specific trade routes. You should be able to tell them to buy things at City A and sell them at City B. The option to go to a merchant and buy a caravan that automatic travels over the world and trades should also still...
  19. SP - General Population & income

Hello I have a suggestion how to make the economic system more exciting. If you buy a shop in snowy lands the population should be less then in grassy lands. This should be shown by a mapmode and by the general income generated when you buy a shop in theese places. If you buy a smith shop in...

    Suggestion for Trading

When hovering over icons of various items, it will display in coloured text the price of the item - with green (most advantageous to buy) indicating that it is below the average price of the item and red (most advantageous to sell) indicating it is above the average price. This is an excellent...
