Greetings, I would like to suggest a new feature in-game. Which is characters with mixed ancestry, I was inspired by the cinematic of the anti imperial ending and CK3 too.
The truth is that there has been a lot of people in the world with mixed ancestry, one example would be during the Viking...
One of Vlandia's bonuses is bonus income if serving as a mercenary. That's fine early game, but literally useless past the mid-game since you aren't serving as a mercenary once you're a vassal or ruler and makes the culture option weak long term. To solve this I propose that other parties from...
Could you please create an option to choose which member of the other clan you want to marry off your family. Right now you can only choose who you want to marry from your clan but you don't have an option to choose which member of the other clan you want to marry off them. That is a big issue...
instead of having cultural bonuses affecting lords and player depending on their starting culture, tie them to troops cultures instead.
so khuzait speed bonus won't take effect unless you have a set percentage of khuzait troops, sturgian snow bonus won't kick in unless you have a set percentage...
I chose the Aserai Culture at the beginning of my campaign for the buffs "Caravans are 30% cheaper to build. 10% less trade penalty."
While I haven't done the math for the trade penalty part, I noticed that caravans still cost the full 15k when building. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
TLDR: I think the current culture background bonuses are too weak/ineffective and should be more interesting.
EDIT: it's been brought to my attention that the cultural bonuses don't actually work yet. I didn't know that when making this post, but I suppose it doesn't really change my point...
Straightforward.
1) Not only will these formations provide a tactical use, using them appropriately, or with a faction type buff will allow COMBAT to be BETTER BALANCED. by certain buffs & debuffs (can of course be multiple, and be smart). Adds tactical depth, planning in battle and thinking...
I have noticed, that bonuses from cultures aren't working. For example I play as an Aserai but creating a caravan still costs me 15 000 instead of 10 500 (my bonus should make it 30% cheaper).
Was going to go Sturgia, but all they get is a bonus to movement in the snow while the others get bonuses that can be used anywhere. Does the game have seasons that make this apply to most of the map for a quarter of the year or something?
