In this thread, I'm suggesting for the implementation of more rewarding options when
assigning a hero character to a settlement and different roles they could be assigned in order to raise their proficiency in skills.
Raising weapon/endurance/range proficiency for companions (Training Fields)...
How about companions can be a clan role that upgrades a certain number of units to a specific tier so that the player doesn't have to?
Their could be a clan role for companions like 'unit commander' or 'master trainer' with a dialogue that sets up an order of 50 Imperial legionaries and 50...
Summary: I think the image speaks for itself, the army that our companions make/assemble are always wayyyy underwhelming, i don't know if this is the way it is to be intended but for the most part our companions are just a bunch of recruits bunch together ....
There also other factors...
Summary:
Companion parties keep recruiting troops from villages only to return and donate them to an already full garrison. The extra troops will obviously desert.
I've noticed similar behavior in previous versions as well.
How to Reproduce:
Town with 5000+ Prosperity (Sanala). Player Character...
So currently the system of death is a random chance with heavily leaning towards kills if the clan is too large. To me this feels a bit unfun ultimately because of how random it ends up being, you often lose family members out of nowhere
I think a better system would be a percentage chance of...
Summary:
Bug - Game is deleting Companion
Death enabled, Moera the Healer is my surgeon in my party with ~50% health.
Mods: "attributes per level"
We're riding along and at noon (about half a day after a battle) she "dies in battle". I did a couple reloads, shutdown game, removing her from my...
Summary: Dima the Wanderer was leading a caravan when she was attacked by bandits and captured. I went to the nearest city and spoke with the ransome broker to get her back but I am unable to ransom her.
How to Reproduce: I have uploaded the save to: http://upload.taleworlds.com:8080/

Currently the only good use of Companions is to keep 2 as a Medic/Scout then to send the rest on a 1 way exclusively paid trip to be captured by bandits in a few months so they can generate gold for you. I feel that's pretty lame at the moment and I think it boils down to the main 2 core...
I'm aware the rules state only one suggestion per thread, but I would like to argue that the suggestions below all tie together in one way or another. All the way from Character Creation, to skills and how they interact with each other for both yourself and NPC characters.
First I want to...
I’ve noticed that my companions who lead parties within my army gain points in medicine as their soldiers are injured- great, they get experience! There’s a noticeable difference when leading just one party in having even a basic surgeon with 80 skill points. Far fewer deaths overall in battle...
your party members should try to seek you out, or go to a friendly town and stay put.
Possible notify you after they are escaped/released and give you a choice between:
1 joining your party again
2 go to a friendly town and wait
3 be released from their service and be on their own again.
I have been noticing this a lot in 1.5.7, but I think it was occurring before as well. When companion party leaders are able to upgrade Aserai Recruits, they invariably choose to upgrade to Mameluke Soldiers, with none being upgraded to Aserai Tribesman. This can lead to companion parties that...
The option to assign a companion a home region to return too after escape/release would be greatly appreciated. Rather than just going to the nearest neutral/friendly settlement, they would return to the assigned settlement. When assigned a party, they would prioritize patrolling that region and...
I've asked several people about this, and seem to be the only one having this issue. However, throughout two full playthroughs within the last month, my family members have not improved relations or gained any charm experience whatsoever while assigned as governors or left in towns. Multiple...
So whenever i am running an army with my companions i can see that they keep loosing troops - even tho my morale is 100 and we arent too many. Loads of diff food and loads of cash but still they are randomly leaving with no warnings
No modas and running 1.5.6
I tried to send my companions to look for recruits, 1st I thought it was some bug with the brother (who doesnt even move in sieges). But then I sent another companion with low levels and it costs around 1950, the same moment I just send her. Is this a bug?
In Pravend I completed the Inn and Out quest. Then I go to one of my companions and as my companion to gather all my companions and come find me. The companion then goes to talk with one of my other companions in the tavern and then the game crashes.
Uploaded the crash report...
So if this has already been drafted somewhere by all means scrap the post I don't want to re open old wounds.
Okay, I took up a new campaign on the new beta branch and I had a companion who inevitably got entered into the tourney I was doing however, now that I have finished said tourney she...
