devs really need to add a "woo-hoo" button cause it isreally frustranting have to depend on randon chances, anyway is that a bug or its normal to not have childs in that amount of time?

Hey Guys I've got a short question, how long did it take for you to get childs when you took your spouse with you (i dont know if that is already in game) cause i have been doing that for 280 days and still got no child. Or is there a maximum age for that (the wife is 57 after the 280 days)...
