best female starting armor--- fancy dress?

I don't generally play a female, but thought I's try it a couple times recently. I find it amusing that the dress, casual wear, is the best armor for the female character during the first level or two of the clan. the 'armor' she starts with is worse than the casual dress. The drops from any...
