Summary: I still do not get any renown after battles. Happens when player is in an AI led army so it looks like player does not get any renown/influence after the battle if AI lords are involved. Media (Screenshots & Video): before the battle After the Battle

If you assist the AI or they assist you in anyway, siege or campaign map then you don't get the battle orders screen. Then after battle you get no renown or influence gained. This only occurs when you aid the AI or the aid you in battle. Just join any battle on the map and you will see it.
