  1. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if that works. My game updates automatically so I haven't really kept track of the game or the mods updating.
  2. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

Couldnt find a particular mod that when disabled prevented the issue, so I disabled all but the main ones (harmony etc), and the graphics/units/equipment mods. Now it didn't disband the kingdom, it just went straight to the crash - same as stacktrace above.
If I disable all mods I cant even load the save, presumably because it's looking for things that are not there anymore. Things are not looking for for that save.
  3. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

Ok, I'll just get down to the dirty work of trying to isolate the culprit mod, while living with the knowledge that suddenly a mod is updated and the problem disappears by itself. If I do find anything I'll try to post it here, in case someone else has the same issue.
  4. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

I tried to prevent the problem by (using console commands) creating a new kingdom, but the same thing happens regardless it seems.
  5. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

Sure, that's a way to do it. I was just wondering in general if anyone else had experienced the same problem. Actually finding the issue is probably going to be harder and I wasn't trying to do that just yet, nor did I want to change my mods in case someone had a similar experience and an idea for things to try.

The reason I don't outright suspect the mods is that I've been playing for quite some time with the same mods, and this just appeared out of the blue. So I intentionally did not list all my mods right away.

These are the mods I've got, and "KillCounters" is the most recently added:

Some are probably higher up on the list of suspects, such as DestroyKingdom, KingdomPoliticsExpanded and Diplomacy.
However, after the kingdom disbands, I just let the game run for about a minute or two, it then fatally crashes. The crash report gives this stacktrace:

  6. My own kingdom suddenly disappears

Hi, I've got my own kingdom, doing the things one does. However, today I suddenly experienced a bug where my kingdom all of the sudden disappears. It says my clan has left the kingdom and moments later it is destroyed. Other annoying things happen too, like all city mayors are "fired", and...
  7. Add_troops console commands not working in 1.2

    its
    Code:
    campaign.give_troops imperial_recruit 1
  8. Add_troops console commands not working in 1.2

Heh, its annoying how there is no logic at all to the commands. Some use pipe separators some dont, sometimes you have to use "Player Several Name" and sometimes its SettlementNames. The order of object and numeral differs between the commands.
  9. SP - General Quest Suggestion - Late Game

Assuming late game means kingship: War & Taxes should be a big concern, as well as politics. Taxation doesnt exist at all now (its automatic and based on prosperity), wars have no logic (they are forced by lords without logical reason), and internal politics barely exists (its only about the relation with lords).

Having missions is good and all, but as a king, you should give the missions, not be given missions.
    - clear bandit camps
    - Solve village/town issues
    - defend areas from raids
    - war goals (defend/attack settlements)
Basically, delegate tasks so you don't have to do everything yourself.

So about being given missions, I don't see how they would be of any benefit since you'll always be plagued by Lords demanding nonsense war all the time - which will take up all your time.
  10. SP - General Give player ruling options in kingdoms

The campaign as a ruler does seem a bit nonsensical. Borders mean nothing to the AI. Fortresses are not defensive points to protect your land - its just a low income settlement to siege. It would make more sense in terms of being a campaign if you give your lords (clans) assignments such as: "protect against intrusions around <settlement>". The clan would have to spend its money and influence to fulfill that commitment. A fortress would be perfect in terms of controlling chokepoints and to clog armies in costly sieges, but now any army can simply pass by them and the defensive power of a fort has no influence on a war.

I realize that this has never been a thing in Mount&Blade, but Bannerlord has obvious chokepoints on the map, but they are not used for any kind of tactical advantage. Supply lines should probably be a thing to make this kind of tactical idea work though. Defend the border!!

This kind of tactical setup would give the king something to do, and more reason to give power to lords, which in turns risks turning them into powerful rivals for power. Imagine the struggle
  11. Quick fix for companions in wrong formation

I have to say its rather annoying that you have to do it EVERY time. I dont know what's wrong with my heroes. Maybe its a bug, maybe its a mod, either way, if there is the slightest problem somewhere the formations are a mess. So the only real solution is to re-equip all my horse archer heroes to infantry.

    Disappointed (by Bannerlord) again
  12. Economy Changes with 1.8 and onwards

    Hi,

Workshops: It's very hard to keep track of the income over time. I did this manually once in Warband: Every time there was a report I noted down the profits (Excel), and I made a graph to show the profits over time, and most importantly - profit compared to initial cost. This is even harder to do in Bannerlord because it doesn't have that periodic report. So, what I miss is the historical data view for workshops to help evaluate the actual profit from the investment. (Btw the Excel sheet was miserable to maintain )

Caravans: It annoys me that caravans don't avoid territories with which its owner is at war. Surely that would be a very unnecessary risk to take in a realistic situation.

Towns: The Warband option of giving inventory to the workshop seems like a natural part of a commercial venture. Boosting the economy of the Workshop with cheap items from far away. Caravans could also be part of this where they use their long-distance trade to supply workshops with the same owner. That would make it much more relevant to own both caravans as well as workshops at the same time.

Those are my three opinions for now
