    Siege and TDM are the only official modes in the game. Skirmish and Captain will have to be played on community servers

    Even then, Bannerlord's MP seems to be dead as far as NA is concerned. Only suggestion I got left is to wait for a sale and get Chiv2, since that game seems to have mostly replaced Bannerlord's multiplayer, even going as far as to having a self-contained port of Warband as a limited time mode

    It'll make siege less infuriating not just in less shooting into melee but also less useless archers. That or the archers will just eat the reflective damage.
    Seems like reflective team damage actually had the opposite effect of what I was hoping for, since less melee units on your team = reduced chance of eating reflective team damage.

    I wonder if a 25% archer limit should be looked into. More players would be able to play archer compared to the other game (16%), but since it'd still leave a majority of players to go melee, archers would still have to think twice before shooting into a group or risk accidentally shooting themselves in the neck

    It's kind of amusing to see archer spammers yeeting themselves out of existence cuz they're too used to not having to aim in order to get kills. I'm hoping that this will push the less accurate players into playing infantry, but part of me also half-expects an increase in archer play, since less melee units = lower chances of team damage

    Battania lack heavy cav, so their low tier cav is better.
    I still think they should have a light lance to compensate for a lack of heavy cav. Could do less damage than heavy cavalry lances but would have the upside of being couchable

    I'm pretty sure more backcaps happen than not because a group of players are in a private Discord DM and have one person playing defenders while everyone else in the group is attacking. The "defender" in that Discord group would tell his friends on the attacking team about openings that can be exploited

    Who cares what happens in team deathmatch? No offense, but isn't it a casual gamemode anyways?
    Considering that it's impossible to queue up (especially in North America), Siege and TDM may as well be the only modes in the game. Captain is being kept alive by community servers tho

    I agree with adding a class limit but no you dont know what your takling about
    If the enemy team has a disproportionate number of archers, you are either an archer yourself in which case, click heads better or if insist on playing a melee unit, enjoy being a free kill. If you lose the ability to spawn as an archer if that unit type is being spammed, you're effectively removed from play due to your inability to do anything beyond "die to arrow spam"

    You seem to think that somehow makes for a balanced game.

    Right so you want half your team to go archers what a brilliant counter to cav
    I mean, the most optimal way to play the melee game is to play it like a cover shooter. Main reason I suggested class limits in the past is so that it can't.

    It can often take upwards of half your quiver to kill a horse without hunter. So no archers are not the solution to enemy cav unless they are defended by spears very well.
    More often than not, there's more than one archer shooting at the horse. Try at least ten of them, and the need to aim will often dissipate since the sheer volume of arrows is such that not getting hit is impossible.

    When your team has a disproportionate number of archers, aiming becomes optional when the opponent has too many melee units, and cavalry's a melee unit.

    Honestly, I think the simplest solution would be to make later points impossible to capture without capturing the earlier ones first:

    A, B and C must be captured first before D, E and F can be captured

    D, E, and F must be captured first before capturing G

    Optional captures (can be ignored unless the team needs extra morale):
    Ayzar Stronghold: B
    Baravenos Encirclement: F

    I still don’t get how you come up with all the bs you post. The average player can get at least a kill and a assist or two so within 2-3 deaths you should be able to play whatever class you want.
    Recruit is still the worst light infantry in the game, having a dull butter knife for a base weapon and 10 armor.

    Your lack of survivability makes Rapid Throws and Shield Wall useless, and Mobility makes Shield Wall look useful in comparison, which makes the only real perk selections Spatha/Specialist or Spatha/Pila. Even then, the Spatha's comparable to the base weapons that other light infantry have when picking the Improved Armor perk. Basically, they're the absolute easiest unit to kill in the game and even if the way gold works in TDM gets changed, player behavior likely won't just cause recruit kills remain as easy as everyone insists that they should be.

    I was wrong. Peasant hunting is still a valid tactic against Empire. That said, I still think gold rewards relative to unit costs is still a good way to tackle things, but the more productive way to deal with peasant hunting would be to ensure that there is a baseline that light infantry is balanced around, cuz they still need to be a strong enough pick that late joiners can do enough damage against units that actually have a gold cost assigned to them. If a light infantry unit were to underperform, players will still peasant hunt regardless of gold penalties since they'd still be a free kill barring a 5v1.

    About desire to buff cavalry, and reducing cost of archers. Archers are the best class in sieges, not heavy infantry.

    Only thing i agree with is a buff to khazuit spear infantry.
    Wonder if the Khuzait Sickle from older versions should replace the Heavy Ild, personally. To me, the Ild and Heavy Ild's differences don't really seem significant enough to warrant not being able to eat a few extra hits, whereas the Khuzait Sickle has some pretty good cut damage, has good reach for a one-handed weapon, and also deals bonus damage to shields.

    Thinking on it, I DO agree that "equal cost" units should have a higher payout than units that cost less than what you spawned as.

    With that said, I'm not too sure if peasant hunting is really all that much of an issue. With the game's current balancing, light inf seems to be strong enough that a late joiner can do enough damage to earn enough gold to respawn as stronger units. I can only think of very specific examples where peasant hunting would be egregious, though they mainly relate to Vlandia being the best at everything more than an issue that affects most faction matchups.

    Well I guess for you the result would be the same wouldn’t matter if vlandian had ak’s or not you would be in class selection screen about the same amount of time
    I mean, I could just as easily play Vlandia at every given opportunity and not worry about my opponent being a better player when I can pick units that invalidate their skill. That how I'm supposed to play the game?
