    Looks like it's now XP instead of SP, this way it is probably easier to level up late game.
    For example your skill increase from 200 to 201 (which takes much more XP to do, right?) is more rewarding than skill increase from 20 to 21 - before it was the same 1 SP.
  2. Suggestion for siege AI issues: Ramp towers actually work, let us choose them

    Apparently this depends on the wall height, defined by wall level - with the fixed siege tower base dimensions, can't have a ramp that steep?

    So the real problem is - why AI uses only 1 or 2 ladders, and does it poorly, trying to climb down sometimes.

    Oh, but the screenshot was you sieging a castle, so I thought you meant the computer-controlled catapults on your side as "the AI".

    If AI is besieging, then, from my observation, it is often what you said - building engines to destroy walls and waiting.
    They may be never attacking if the odds aren't good enough in their favor, which kind of proves that they aren't assaulting blindly.
    They will forever build catapults and then disperse, so the problem is actually that AI doesn't use "put in reserve" feature.

    And/or maybe whole siege engine building needs balancing/rework. Sadly, this "put in reserve" feels like a "mod" feature that has to work around limitations of an original game.

    In my experience, if attacker catapults would've been focusing walls first, they'd be destroyed really quickly.

    So - no, you have to build engines in reserve (do you know how to do that?) and deploy them all at once to kill enemy catapults first and only then hit walls, while enemy is rebuilding his defenses.

    Just to clarify, do you mean a quest named "Lord needs access to XXX's commons"? Where XXX is another village name, and the quest is to follow a group of villagers.

    Asking this because there is another quest, "Bring herd to XXX", so lets help devs by making the bug description as clear and unambiguous as possible.

    I've never seen in in days of play, is it sold only in a specific culture on specific holy days when the moon crosses the sun?
    Don't know really. I didn't notice cities selling culture specific weapons, there are steppe bows everywhere, but if it is a thing, then yeah try Vlandia and Empire.

    At tournaments in Vlandia, they sometimes give you a crossbow, so I improved my skill to 20.
    This is a solid advice actually - enter practice fights in Vlandia, you'd often get a crossbow, even though the xp from them is lower than from real battle.

    Right, observed the same issue - a few soldiers actually climb the towers (and die quickly), the rest of the army keeps walking into the walls :sad:

    Add: a simulated battle is hardly an option, it leads to the super heavy casualties - 1100 vs 580 - only 150 attackers survive.

    No, the required amount is set to something, in my case it also was around 4-5k AFAIR, so it's just a coincidence that you had almost precisely that amount.

    Ackdam, the castle is owned by my clan specifically. Yeah, totally agree with you that if you'd donated to someone else's castle then you shouldn't be able to manage them afterwards.
