  3. You're not the king of your kingdom

    And, as leader of your army, if your infantry is under command of another lord (but you are the army's leader, and the king btw) they will go where you want, but not move as the formation you order. So it's loose formation for everyone. it's weird to have to disband your amy just before engaging the ennemy to counter this bug.

  5. Clans leaving Kingdom too easily?

    Am I the only one who cant seem to hold on to any clan for longer than a few days?

    I had a clan join me with over 50 relations. I gave them tonnes of influence by supporting them and even gave them a city to manage and they just left after a few days.
    Is there any way to change this?
    Seems like owning your own kingdom is pointless as all the clans leave anyway.

    If this is something I'm doing wrong then please let me know. I would appreciate some advice

    2. Using the steward/castellan to commission patrols through an area. So sure, you and the AI can get your army past the castle to seize the city beyond it, but all of your caravans and villager parties will keep getting attacked by patrols from the castle. You might have the town but it’s food and prosperity will tank because of the castle. Number, size and quality of patrols are variant based of the quantity of money invested in them.

    At least TW spares money for testers because they have paid testers like us (usually a company pays their testers). That´s a good and profitable concept.

    Sell your unfinished product, do nothing and get profit. Maybe they spend their money for us in improved trees!

    Even more profit if you depend on modders to fix your product! Big brain time!

    To be honest, I would do the same if I would be a boss of a game company. Bannerlord got a lot of good reviews from German critics, so why change anything?

    I would also feel ashamed a little bit, but the money I earned would cure this. As long as my company would release patches (doesn´t improve anything) my fanboys would love it also!

    Still waiting for the next patch which improves the clouds/tree/gras. I mean their graphic devs did a great job and should continue, we all bought the product because of the aweseome graphics that Warband already offered. And in 3-5 days some dev will comment in some random thread that they are aware of those issues and the fanboys will love it.

    I just hope they won´t lose all the modders who really try to make this game working, for free.

    Thanks to all modders out there, who try to fix a broken game without any tools! THANKS! Maybe a good company will do a game like this, but without all those issues....8 years....

    Going to play a better game now, like Mount and Blade Warband with mods of course, but even Vanilla is better than this mess.

    If you want to hire a dev (like me, I´m not a dev) just release whatever update with a lot of text, just 3€.

  14. Does anyone think that Vlandia is way too fancy in the game?

    They never stopped calling themselves "Roman," so calling them the Eastern Roman Empire is actually more accurate than calling them the Byzantine Empire (a name they never used). They themselves would probably prefer to be called just "The Roman Empire." But I refer to them by the term "Eastern Roman" to encapsulate their later developments in armor and culture long since the fall of the actual city of Rome in the West (barring subsequent recapture and later loss by the rulers of Constantinople).
    I'm aware of that. That's why I said they are what WE would be compelled to call byzantines. The point being that it's not unusual to have "romans" and "mongols" at the same time, which means it is not an excuse to have futuristic Vlandians.

    Regarding battanians, I think the idea is that they are the remnants of a once great celtic inspired nation that survived thanks to its isolation, but became decadent because of it. I still think they are annoying forest monkeys who only serve to paint imperial and sturgian shieldwalls red (which ,according to a battanian companion in game, they do a lot)

    Is it because the Calridic Empire is largely based on the Eastern Roman Empire which was predominantly Greek for much of its history or because the Khuzaits aren't directly based on the Mongols and instead draw from them as well as various other Steppe Tribes and Cultures such as the Huns, Tartars and Uyghurs?

    Or because you don't think the Vlandians look ok?

    Because more than ERE, they are what we would be compelled to call the Byzantines. You are right about the Khuzaits and about me not liking the Vlandians.

    Every faction except the Bats fit into a somewhat defined time period in real history, except the Vlandians who seem to be time travelers from the future.

    your correct, i dont want to get rid of the druzhinna i want them to be more prevalent then they are, i was trying to say get rid of the Varyag melee aspect of it and make it mounted like the most of the noble cav units.


    if you notice in the part of that article about heavy horse archers the Cataphract and Druzhinna are mentioned of making use of bows but neither of the units in game that are based on the real life examples don't use the same type of equipment to the same extents anyway. having the druzhinna focus on shield/axe +bow/arrow would let is work as a unit that could dismount and still make something happen if they need to go on foot for a particular situation

    imagine trying to dismount and use a lance as a spear..... yikes lol

    Well if polearms worked better, or if you could plant them to stop charges I imagine it'd be OP, as their horses standing between the formation would make enemy cavalry get stuck and be easy prey (kinda like that strategy to cheese Khergits im WB you could do)
