    I'm glad other people have experienced this issue. I think GPU usage has intensified or something because my GTX 1060 can't really handle the game any more unless I turn everything down to low and even then the card crashes on occasion. I've stopped playing Bannerlord for now. When GPUs become available again, will probably upgrade to latest generation.

    BTW, I don't run any mods, just the basic game.

    CPU: i7-8700 @3.2GHz
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
    32 GB RAM
    yeah i get the same impression. my GTX 1060 6GB could handle the game fine on early access but now it can't. with this card being the recommended hardware in the steam shop system requirements i would expect it to perform better ..

    with the gpu availability and prices these days i will be stuck with it for at least another 6 month and of course i try not to overstress it so it won't smoke up in flames

    i came back to the game after 5 months with 1.5.6 and was shocked how worse the performance has become. when i played first after early access i could get stable 60 fps on medium settings but now i am struggling to get 50+ fps on lowest settings even in a tournament, its not better in 1.5.7.

  7. Need More Info V-sync doesn't work in borderless-window mode, and in fullscreen, only works after switching modes and back

    i had this problem also and i solved it by in the nvidia control panel under "3D Settings", "Program Settings" and then add Bannerlord and then under "vertical sync" the "use application settings" option while i have vertical sync activated in the bannerlord options. It seems that when you have the vertical sync set under "Global Settings" and then have it set in Games as well it doesnt work, at least thats my theory ..

    just played a few hours and the problem is gone for me. I always use the manual landing point creation now, which is better anyway since it gives me the landing point exactly where i wanted it ..

    i normally have about 1 GB of RAM more free, i had my browser and firewall etc. running in the back

    Change that 0.200000 at the start to 99.000000 and try sailing in a normally problematic area.  Is the stuttering any better?

    I tried that and it seems to have helped a lot. No more stuttering at all. Problem is i dont get anymore landing points ..
    Maybe lower the value a bit again?

    I noticed it gets better in some parts of the maps like between denmark and britain or north of ireland for example. But in most parts of the map it is hardly bearable. So is my hardware too slow for this? i thought i was way above the recommended hardware needs with a AMD Phenom 2 955 @3,2 GHz, 4 GB RAM and a HD 7850 ...
