Oh look. Yet another server.
Having a bunch load of rules is
not the way to go. If you want your no-scripts server to stand a chance, you need a minimalist ruleset
at most. You need an incentive for people to play on your server. Trying to run it as an RP server will result in complete failure (unless of course you end up being the only server), because any server with scripts will be able to produce a far better RP environment than you, regardless of admins.
- No Randoming - you need a reason to kill someone
- NRR - you cannot kill someone because of something that happened in your previous life
- No glitching or abusing bugs
Is all you need
at most. The most popular servers often have the smallest rulesets during times of competition - and you're competing against a giant with a large playerbase that keeps on playing for one reason: their gear is saved on there. If you do this, then your server may actually have more of a chance of lasting and gaining a reasonable player base.
And no, your ruleset isn't 'three rules' either. I'm counting around 7, give or take some. Don't break the rules down into sub rules. If you need to explain a rule, you should be able to do it in a line or less. Examples aren't important and just make your ruleset look even more bloated.
