    Introduction/Hello thread

    Hello all M&B and Warband fans :smile:

    Since, some time im back again. saw that Warband was released and i tought yay now i got a new pc, Bought the game pump up the graphics to max and play the game :smile: must say it's Awesome!

    I've been active before alot on Custom Settlements(Settlement Cuijk), but after some time some other games took me away but now im fully back!!

    Hope soon there will be a tool to edit/add troops because, i'd like to make my own troops.
    Tho i can use some little help.
    I'd like to know how to make some troops spawn in my own kingdom village, or something like that anyway if someone could help(warband) pm me :wink:

    1: i think, that when you put esmiralda and the rest prisoner in camp they will escape and claim it later too, maybe not. got no clue on that

    2: Heroes in camps as prisoner will work as a normal prisoner and after a time they escape.

    3: Currently as far i know the only way to make peace is to help them out in fights with bandits etc.

    4:i dont know, but maybe it just pops up  :lol:

    The outcome of cuijk is not the best but okay :smile:
    i just love the e2m2 scene tho, i got some plans for other settlement but i need to have some time free.

    found a bug in a settlement..

    Emtle when i enter it it says cannot load scene objects

    Is it because its empty or?

    troops ingame like rhodoks always seem to have multiple weapons, but maybe they can only have 1 weapon of each type, and maybe its considering the pike you're using as a one hander and same with the knife

    The pike is 1 handed off course bcause they wear the board shield too, i'll try to give them a 2 handed sword, maybe that wil work. tho it's better if they got an one handed weapon..

    But since 067 is out my troop tree is gone :razz: so nevermind this anyways..

    yeah, but then it would still be a line of hoplites where you see 5/7 with pikes and 2/7 with daggers..
    The point of hoplites/pikemen is that they got the pikes/long spears to stab em from the big distance, a spear wall tho ain't strong in m&b :sad: and when they come trough the line of pikes they could "drop" the pike and get their daggers for the close combat.

    Or rush and make a good story that misses something :O

    I ain't good in writing story's but i like it when a settlement got a story.

    now, widde got a long long long post i like it, really the ideas are great but alot of work for wicked(no idea if he works alone but with more ppl then they could make something like the slave system

    The slave system is amazing, i really like to make a arena next to my next settlement!
    And alot more good suggestions tho i really hope the slave system will be introduced

    i'd like too know if its possible tho i can't script :razz:

    i've tried it with the troop editor but the problem is there its sometimes a dagger or a pike.. actualy it was 6/7 units had a dagger :sad:
    and i hope theres a way to improve the pike bcause they begin to stab them when they are closer then the weapons reaches..

    Uhm.. i've got some nice army(made off the custom tree that wicked got in the mod now :razz:

    And changed some units in the tree to my liking :wink:
    Now i've made a hoplite..
    Tho i've given him a pike and a heavy board shield. now the problem is when the enemys rush trough the pikes(sad that they can't make a good pike formations.. like the phalanx :smile: ) they only got the pikes and in close combat thats hard to win,
    Now my question is, is it possible to have the Hoplite always carry a pike, a Board Shield + a knife for close combat?

    i think ppl will think like wtf :O
    Tho the idea to be like heroes is more like making a mod with heroes from movies/games etc..
    Then you would have an mod with legolas fighting with Achilles that would be awesome..

    I actualy say no to this :wink:

    Scene editing: is lag a problem?

    Making alot of items won't make lagg fast but making an field of wheat like i got in my settlement(cuijk)
    Then it will carry lagg when your near it.

    Soo, my idea: wicked may create an hero with stats as he likes but only thing i'd like to have is it's appearance
    Appearance: Poor merchant look like with long black hair and a big beard.
    Faction: Merchant offcourse.

    The rest may wicked fill up :razz:, if he likes too else i'll edit later(gotta sport now! ><)

    Why everytime custom?

    Btw, tried to fix it .. but again and again.. it goes with the error :sad:  but now when i upgrade it crashes..
    if i upgrade it to recruit/female recruit it just crashes ..
