    Lacking goals for late game

The one thing that will fix all.....MODs.

They just have to finalize the game and stop patching every other week so that modders and players who use mods can actually play the game without a gazillion patches constantly breaking the mods and subsequently the save games with them.
Mods are nice, but you definitely do not want to rely solely on mods to make a good game. If we let mods implement all the cool stuff, you will have dozens of mods that might not be compatible with each other, using different launching methods, and breaking saves every time one mod changes something. Late-game goals need to be part of the main game, built in to the vanilla experience.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.5.8

Love it! I'd be ticked too if some rando merc helped kill my extended family.
Nah, it's crap. If you execute them, fine, take the relations hit, but them falling in honorable battle? That shouldn't punish the player like that.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.5.8

So... now if an enemy lord dies in your battle, you take a relation hit with their clan their friends. Was quite the surprise to make enemies of some clans just being a mercenary in random battles around the area.

In Progress Companions only upgrade Aserai Recruits to Mameluke line.

I have been noticing this a lot in 1.5.7, but I think it was occurring before as well. When companion party leaders are able to upgrade Aserai Recruits, they invariably choose to upgrade to Mameluke Soldiers, with none being upgraded to Aserai Tribesman. This can lead to companion parties that...

    Things the Aserai could use!

I'd prefer to keep resources at least somewhat regionalized, to offer players some relatively easy to understand trade relationships that hold up even as conquest changes the face of the continent.
I can see the validity of that, but regionalization needs to be somewhat rational too. It makes sense for the Aserai to not have fur production areas, just like it makes sense for the Sturgians to not have date production areas.
Iron, however, is a very common item, mostly found in-game near mountains, which the Aserai lands have a ton of. There's no rational reason for them to not have a single iron ore production area.

    Things the Aserai could use!

I just use w/e culture I'm playing naming conventions to use when I make a new character. I have Banu Kosca, fen Koschae, Koscheiving, etc.
Aserai definitely could use some medium and heavy arm and leg armor, they have nothing natively for players that like to stay in their lands.
Lastly, despite having numerous villages in mountainous regions, have no iron ore available in their territory. That could use a fix.

Feature Request: Dynamic changing settlement cultures

Playing as Battania, I struggle to get fiefs of my culture. When I take a fief belonging to an enemy of my people, I'd like to run the usurpers out and resettle the land with good Battanian stock.

Make there be a hit to prosperity and relations, fine, but this a game set in the medieval period. That is a thing that was done.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

I'm wondering if the prioritizing of governors over party leaders is intentional as a curb to snowballing. Own too many fiefs, suffer from a lack of troops to take more land.

    Next patch when.

Of course I won´t get any reply. So just call me a non lifer. It´s easier than getting a reply.

I just want to know what we can expect from the next update. But it seems that´s too much to ask for an EA game.

Have fun with this Placeholderlord game until modders, working for free, fix it.

Straight-up dude, people are getting tired of your negativity. For a guy so active on this forum, very little of your content is feedback on improving the game. It's mostly just unconstructive rants about the development process and insults about the devs.

Reconsider your time management priorities maybe?

    About notables and their support

I had a few supporters in 1.4.2 beta, and got the influence gain. 1.4.3 I have yet to gain a single supporter after 10 years of doing quests and having high security.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

Will do. Is there a way to bring prices down artificially other than selling iron there in bulk.?
I'm not sure if it got fixed, but in earlier versions, dumping a lot of goods on a town brought caravans swarming like flies to buy up the now dirt cheap goods you sold. It was a problem when you fixed starving towns by selling lots of food. Just something to be aware of.

[1.4.3 ]Village notables power decreasing steadily until it hits 100

There's at least three quests in that list that I refuse to take due to the relation hit it gives with other parties.

The Escort Caravan quest also get extremely tedious at tier 3 and above, so I rarely take that one past mid-game.

A notification of available quests and a change to relation malus quests might be in order if the influence loss stays around.

@Bannerman Man does it again and gives us a nice peek under the hood. We appreciate what you do bud, thank you.

    Rebellions

are u fr? rebellions won't be added?? damn that sucks was waiting for that.

He's not fr. Rebellion already exists in the game, it's just not turned on yet. If you go into the dev console (already built into 1.4.2 +), you will see the option.

I'm not sure why it's not turned on, devs must still be working on it.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

We are aware of some issues with party creation. Unfortunately, we didn't get a fix ready for this week's hotfix. Hopefully, we can address it in the upcoming one. Having said that, there are currently holidays in turkey, which may slow us down a little.

Appreciate the info, hope you guys have a great weekend holiday.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

    Beta Hotfix (e1.4.3 - 30/07/20)
    • Item prices differentiate more among settlements so merchant players & caravans can make better profits.
You guys have done the exact "opposite" Most prices for grain, fish, olives, and grapes are under 10, and most of the rest are under 20 in virtually every town. You have made profits worse and I am really shocked that this was allowed in as this is something that takes literally 5 or 10 minutes to verify and now we might have to wait days or week for a hotfix. at the very minimum this part of the hotfix needs to be removed ASAP. I am about to create my first caravans and I wonder if they will be making any profit, but my profit for my trader is so damn low I am better off fighting looters to make money.

2nd issue- It appears all female Lords, the ones that can make groups are all stuck in castles and towns like the regular noble women that aren't lords. I went searching for a wife and all 3 I met were in castles or towns and never left them. Also a massive!!!!! problem as they are not helping their kingdoms in battles.
\Can't stress enough these are two major issues that need to be looked into quickly.
Prices are now different enough in different cities that I am making decent profit as a trader. It's much better than when prices were mostly the same across the whole continent.

On your 2nd issue, ai clans use their clan tier to determine the number of parties that they field. The ones that you are observing might have reached their party limit.

    Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

One thing that I noticed new in 1.4.3 is that imperial recruits got their shiny spathas taken away. They are using peasant weapons now.

It would be Appreciated if the Devs added: Statue(s)

Not only do I like this suggestion, I also really dig this guys series of "it would be nice" suggestions overall. High quality feedback given in a polite and friendly manner. Hope the devs take a look at his stuff.

    Quests

I would also love to see a dynamic quest system.

In Progress 1.4.3 Armor Weight Issue

The "Layered Robe" and "Long Padded Robe" from Aserai culture have very odd weight stats. Layered Robe (used by tier II Mameluk Infantry) has a weight of 14.0, heavier than many metallic armors. The "Long Padded Robe" has a weight of 22.3 units, making it one of the heaviest armors in the game.
