I think that :
- Stamina bar is not a good idea, it's ok on Chivalry because otherwise, people would be running around and spamming,... but on a game where you feel like you're controlling everything you do at 100 %, it would just be frustrating.
- The Warband fighting system is perfect, it's fun, and even if you end up fighting 5 opponents you still have a chance to win, especially if you are better than them and also because no stamina bar will condemn you after you fought the first 2 opponents.
- Whenever a medieval game is trying to improve the way melee fighting is working and is trying to make it way more " realistic ", well, you end up with something like Kingdome come Deliverance and if you're honest, I don't see how the fighting system would work against multiple opponents, it's already kind of annoying to see when they are fighting in 1 vs 1 ( even if the game looks cool ! ). I've also played For Honor's Alpha and even if the game is amazing, they pushed the fighting system a bit too far, too many technics and special combos are breaking the fun, it's like Mortal Kombat or Tekken, when you understand how it's working, you keep spamming the same keys. Also, the stamina bar in For Honor is not making the game funnier at all. Devs know it, especially the ones that are developping Sandbox/Medieval games that you can find in Early Access on Steam, they are all using the same fighting system as Warband, because it's simply the best.
- I'm really happy that they won't change anything for Bannerlord because if there's something that they really didn't need to change, it's how the melee fighting system is working.
