    Indeed there's a lot of problems with the balance, which I am hoping to address in some part while fixing the autocalc issue. In case of the Highlanders I couldn't decide whether I wanted them or the Kierguards to be the Ravenstern tier 6 infantry and I'm still not sure about that. Any suggestions?  :iamamoron:

    Finally I've uploaded a beta. Sadly not because it was ready for it.  :roll:

    "Overhaul", huh? It was just supposed to be a handful of changes for my personal playthrough but I guess it did snowball like Eyegrims doomstack.

    Bandits are an integral part of early game so they got a proper troop tree. Here's their archers line:

    Some troop stats left, a bit of item stats and flags, a couple dshar bandits, party templates, compiling everything and then writing the release post. Just a couple of weeks away.

    Eyegrim is impossible to beat in new update

    I was thinking split at 10k into two 5k stacks and if player doesn't do something about it there'll be 20 5k stacks running around, consuming the entire world and posing a danger on the entire map without being unbeatable individually like now. ;D

    I have a suggestion.

    Instead of capping his army, make his army split in half at certain point and only make the one Eyegrim is in continue to snowball.

    Some items are replacements, most are additional variants of existing models. 60% of banners I'll replace, no new ones will be added.

    I originally did not intend to do anything with Pendor troops at all, but now I have been working on them for the past week and oh boy can I not wait to show you... But the awesomesauce drop will come with release, so just take my word for it, for now.  :twisted:

    Faction troops 95% done. I'm working on mercenaries, vigilantes, women and adventurers. That will be the end of graphics and design. A week or two for this, then two weeks or four for number crunching and the first release should be ready.

    Since the Orders get new armors Ravenstern and Sarleon Knights get a tiny upgrade too.
    Ravenstern uses pointy bascinets, Sarleon uses rounded. They look great in this getup imho.

    I'm alive. It just so happens that my interests change around every three months. This time I fired ceramics in a mud kiln with the clay from my property.  :iamamoron:

    But I'm back to work on this now. Still a few graphical things to finish, but the work left is mostly tedious number crunching and organization so I probably won't give any updates this development cycle.

    An Easter Egg incubated, I've made Spectral Army. Still adjusting the shader. (Courtesy of Burspa)

    Lore wise - it's the last Ethos King and his fallen knights. Before battle he had his men swear that they would fight the Empire and for the reclamation of Ethos until their very deaths. Due to treason of Radiant Knights and Ethos nobles who made a deal with the Emperor, the King and his entire army was slain. In tribute to the fallen a new order called the "Death Sworn" formed.

    Ideally it would be a boss for a quest for the Death Sworn KO. Lay the fallen to rest, claim the spectral Kings crown and re-forge Kingdom of Ethos.

    I've been busy working on Kingdom of Ethos items. It'll share elements of the greater Pendorian culture with a Mediterranean twist based on Italian trade republics. The Kingdoms symbol will be a golden chalice representing their great wealth accumulated from maritime trade and good climate for farming. It'll only be a 'fallen faction' consisting of roaming rebel bands across Empire until the player decides to reform it. Assuming I can actually make that happen.  :mrgreen:

    It's made me want to go back and do something for Sarleon and Ravenstern as well.  :lol:

    We'll see how it goes, but I also forgot I haven't even touched the KO sergeants at all so I won't be done for a while yet.  :party:
    And since the balancing will take a long while after that (I've already re-done 90% of troop trees) maybe I'll just release KO visuals only version for vanilla pop.

    Another try with Radiant Cross. I wanted them white due to the saturation of black armors already but that isn't working out all that great so here's a black variant. What do ya think?
    It also ties them a bit with the Death Sworn as a splinter group and should work better with the future Kingdom of Ethos troop tree.

    Indeed. I was thinking I'd need to model the skull in, but that'll come later.

    Lots of time going into tedious txt files work. Graphical stuff is slowly nearing completion and I should be releasing an alpha soon after.
