I was about to purchase this loong awaited title, only to find it aviable through steam, nowhere else. Is it, or will it ever be possible to get this game without any steamy hindrance?

I like the old classical "unreal" terrain instead boring and all flat terrain in this mod, what I have to do to change it back, to keep mod as it is but to change terrain of battles back to classical from native module?
