No that was an answer to a different question, the topic(which I started) has been answered.

The answer to that problem is that 1866 is 2 games in 1. You can play as a Cowboy or Lawman and take the fight to the hotels, or a Mexican, Indian, or American fighting over towns and castles.

If you're playing as an outlaw, only fight lawmen and outlaws, and vice versa. You can't handle the major leagues.

It gives you a special feel of a league of power, where you're the amatuers with their pistols and bank robberies

So I guess it's just an AI problem then. I'll try that next time, thank you very much. 

Well, part of the problem isn't that they can't kill. I went up against 20 deserters and it was bloody and about 12 of them were killed by my men, however when it was down to the last 3, it took them literally 5 minutes to kill each one, so as usual I have to chase the sorry asses down and kill them myself to save time.

Part of the problem with the scenes however is that once the cavalry gets stuck, alot of my troops fall off their horses and get killed trying to melee with county militias

I got it fixed, like an idiot I decided to try a reboot and voila, it actually works now.

It's a Dell, and the first person who reported the problem in the bug report also had a quite similar Dell

Btw really nice work on the mod.

I've got the same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times, game and mod, and used 2 of the 3 download sites. I can hunt and visit towns, and join the army, but the banks, and map icons crash me when I go to them.

Hope it can be fixed, this seriously looks like the best mod ever made.

Hate to break it to you, but with about 2000 troops in Afghanistan and being in the top ten of the US' trade partners, I don't think the US would be happy if they lost the Netherlands as an ally. In fact, Obama has already been asking for extended support:

2,000 troops in Afghanistan isn't necessarily a big number, the U.S is moving troops from Iraq to Afghanistan so why would 2000 troops matter? If the Netherlands sends about thirty thousand or so troops, then maybe it would matter. 

I don't think an alliance gives you the right to trade with that country, I think an embargo would be entirely different to losing an alliance, no?

I didn't read the article, but I'm just saying that I've noticed that alot of people from small countries seem to act like theirs is great. Now, if the article said they're bootlicking devilworshipping horse****ers, then I suppose I'd be a little upset aswell. Sorry to the Dutchies, I just get annoyed with this kind of stuff. I guess the Netherlands is important, but not to the point of greatpower status or the like.

No that would mean that since there is a majority of conservatives that want to hear counterfactual BS, they can't cater to that crowd of conservatives that want a bit inbetween, so they have to represent all of them as retards, as opposed to having a choice of how to report stuff.

Mount and blade is alright, but even with mods it gets REALLY repetitive. It's a gem for a few months or so, but then you put it in the dusty bookshelf.

But the game itself is a work of art, it just has no depth beyond combat.
