  1. Bannerlord: Napoleonic Wars

Its popularity is indisputable. A mainstay of online battle.
    Napoleonic Wars will come.
  2. First Person in Bannerlord

    I play first person.
I'd like the ability to "glance' right/left using buttons.
  3. Napoleonic Wars Patch 1.2 + Warband 1.173

Congrats! ..., and a very unexpected, Well Done!
  4. Validating Serial Number

    Had this problem yesterday.
On the 'Speakers' window, i had changed the setting in the 'communication' tab from 'Do nothing' to 'mute all sounds'.

Changing back to 'Do nothing' fixed the problem.
  5. Is there somewhere I can read more about norms in early modern warfare?

Sorry, no easy way to condense this subject.
Historians would often only mention 'norms of battle' if the norms weren't followed, which happened often enough.

"A history of the Peninsular War"
Within this massive work can be found many examples & answers to your questions.

Luckily, the books can be had for free through archive.org.

  6. Config for Napoleonic war

Warband isn't a demanding game hardware wise.

At leash 8 gigs RAM & an intel cpu, say 3.2 ghz is plenty good for NW.
Gfx card? An older Nvidia card is fine ..., bet the game would run on a newish onboard intel motherboard chip.

My pc is old. 3.4 ghz cpu, but throttled, WB only draws 2.4 ghz under load.
Plus, use an old 450 Nvidia card which might strain at high resolution, 1600X900, but is fine at lower rez.

    Hope that helps.

  7. 1st. Person view: Glance right/left.

I play 1st person. Glance keys r/l will allow a wider view without losing the ability to pivot weapons with the mouse. Same applies to 3rd person view, come to think of it. Moreover, the ability to scan without the mouse opens-up the use of IRtrackers, snap & pan views ..., and let's not...
